Zoho Projectssolar-tuned for sign-to-PTO install ops.
Take a signed contract straight out of CRM and run it through permit, design, procurement, install, inspection, PTO and monitoring activation — with AHJ deadline alerts, weather-delay tracking, crew leveling, and a Gantt that doesn't lie. One project record from contract to closed-active, every doc and photo attached.
From the signed contract to PTO and monitoring live.
Every U.S. residential solar install moves through the same five phases. We've coded each one into Zoho Projects so your PM stops chasing docs and your crew gets clean, dated work orders.
Contract signs in CRM. Project record opens itself.
The moment the customer signs in Zoho CRM, a Project is auto-created in Zoho Projects — with the system size, AHJ, utility, financing, and crew preference already populated. Aurora drawings, contract PDF, and copy of the utility bill all attach themselves. No "send me the signed deal" ping.
Permit packet built. SCE interconnect submitted. Deadlines tracked.
Engineering generates the line diagram, the SCE permit-to-interconnect app fires Day 0, the city building permit packet drops the same week. Each milestone has a deadline tied to the contract penalty clause — when something slips, the PM gets pinged before the customer asks.
Panels, inverter, racking — PO'd against the install date, not the contract date.
Procurement opens against the install slot, not the signing date — so panels don't sit in a warehouse for 6 weeks of carrying cost. Inventory at the local distributor is checked live; backorders flag immediately so the install date can be re-negotiated before the crew is committed.
Crew dispatched. Photos uploaded. Inspector booked the same day.
Install date drops to the crew calendar. T-5 arrives at 6:45 AM, completes mounting, electrical, and battery in one day; photos auto-upload from the iPad app to the project record. City inspection is auto-booked the next morning. If the city reschedules, the PM is alerted, not surprised.
Utility approves. Monitoring goes live. Customer gets trained.
SCE permission-to-operate arrives, monitoring activates inside Enphase Enlighten, and the customer onboarding ping schedules a 30-minute walkthrough. Project flips to "Closed-active" and rolls into the AMC + monitoring service queue automatically. Service starts on day one of operation.
What the Zoho Projects license actually costs.
Pricing below is Zoho Projects' published U.S. list rate, billed annually, per user per month, in USD. As an Authorized Partner we apply a 15-20% partner discount on your subscription, invisible to Zoho list, real to your invoice.
* Zoho One requires all-employee licensing. We usually recommend it once you cross 12 full-time employees on Zoho, the math flips fast.
Three fixed-price ways to deploy solar Projects.
Zoho licenses are one cost. Getting Zoho Projects actually running the install desk, that's our work. Three productized packages, in USD, with scopes defined before we start.

Six things you won't get from a generic Zoho rollout.
7-stage install blueprint
Intake → permit → procure → install → inspect → PTO → AMC. Each stage has SLA, owner, doc requirements and a hard deadline. No more "where's that job again?" stand-up questions.
AHJ deadline alerts
Every city has a different permit clock (10-day plan check, 20-day re-submit, 30-day stale). Each AHJ is wired with its real deadline, not a default 14-day reminder.
Utility queue tracker
SCE 14-209, PG&E NEM-PA, SDG&E NEM-A. Each utility's queue is tracked with its average wait, and a customer-comms template fires when the wait exceeds 21 days.
Photo doc capture, geotagged
Crew photos upload from the iPad app with GPS, timestamp, and project number embedded. Inspectors see the same photos PMs see — no "can you re-send the racking shots?".
Crew leveling Gantt
Visual crew calendar with conflicts. If T-3 is already on the Boerne install, T-5 is auto-suggested for the new Riverside job — and the Gantt re-flows when an inspector reschedules.
Weather-delay tracking
Rain push? Auto-flag the project, ping the customer, re-book the inspector, and recalc the AMC start date. No paper to shuffle, no Slack threads.
A Zoho partner that has run a real install ops desk.
Solar install-ops specific
Generic PM partners don't know what a 14-209 is. Our default project template ships with the real AHJ list, utility queue tracker, and crew dispatch logic we've shipped across 4,200+ installs.
Built for the rebate clock
ITC, SGIP, SREC and state rebates all have hard windows. We tie the project plan to those clock dates so the install doesn't slip past the rebate cliff. Saves real money.
FSM-ready out of the box
Most Projects setups stop at the office. Ours hands off cleanly to Zoho FSM for crew dispatch, work orders, and time tracking — without the customer ever switching apps.
