Built-in channel
Zoho Inventory
Imports Amazon orders from a start date you pick, matches items by SKU, name or both, and pushes stock changes back to Amazon. FBA items get a fulfilment request from the sales order. Read more on Zoho Inventory.
Amazon Seller Central · Integrations · Los Angeles
Amazon pays you a net number every settlement. Your books need to know what was inside it.
US sellers who run Amazon next to a Shopify store or wholesale accounts end up with three versions of the truth: Seller Central’s, the warehouse’s and the accountant’s. We connect Amazon to Zoho Inventory so each order commits stock everywhere you sell, record the sale in Zoho Books, and turn each settlement into an entry that splits sales, referral fees, FBA fees and refunds before the deposit is matched.
Advanced PartnerZoho Inventory for marketplace sellers
01Who needs this
The moment Amazon is one channel among several. A seller who only sells on Amazon can live in Seller Central for a long time; the trouble starts when the same shelf feeds a website, a marketplace or a wholesale buyer. Drag each card to compare.
One count in Zoho Inventory. An Amazon sale lowers what Shopify and eBay can sell within the next sync.
Amazon knows its own stock. Someone updates the other channels by hand or by a spreadsheet upload.
Settlement lines land on the right Books accounts, so margin per SKU and per channel is a report, not a project.
The payments reports hold every fee, but turning them into a profit and loss is a monthly spreadsheet job.
Extra setup and a monthly Zoho plan that a seller with one channel and a few SKUs may not need yet.
Listings, FBA shipments and payouts all live in one place, with your bookkeeper reading the summary.
Reorder points use sales from every channel, and purchase orders and vendor bills sit next to the stock they refill.
Restock suggestions cover FBA well but cannot see what your own store or wholesale buyers took.
02Amazon integration services
Five stops, in the order we do them. The SKU work comes first because every later step matches on it.
Amazon SKUs, your store SKUs and your item list rarely agree. We build one item per product in Zoho Inventory and record every channel SKU against it.
Seller Central connected, an order import start date chosen, items mapped by SKU and stock sync switched on only after a test order passes.
Stock sitting in Amazon warehouses is kept separate from your own shelves, and outbound requests for FBA items go to Amazon from the sales order.
A clearing account per marketplace, plus a job that reads each settlement report and posts sales, fees, refunds and reserves as one balanced entry.
Failed imports and unmapped SKUs alert a named person, and a dashboard shows margin by channel after Amazon’s fees.
03One order, Day 0 to reconciled
Six stops for a sample FBA order. Scroll and the ring closes one stop at a time, from the order to the matched deposit.
Stop 1Day 0 · 9:12 pm · Order
The order appears in Seller Central as pending. Zoho Inventory imports it as a sales order against the item mapped to that Amazon SKU, with Amazon as the channel.
Stop 2Day 0 · 9:20 pm · Stock
The units are committed in the FBA warehouse, and the new available count is pushed out to Amazon and your other connected channels. The last set cannot be sold twice.
Stop 3Day 1 · Ship
For FBA items Amazon picks and ships. For merchant-fulfilled orders your team packs it and the tracking number goes back to Amazon. Either way the sale is invoiced in Zoho Books against the marketplace.
Stop 4Day 9 · Return
The buyer returns one set. The refund shows up later in the settlement, so we don’t guess at it now; the return is logged against the order and the unit waits for Amazon to grade it.
Stop 5Day 14 · Settle
Amazon closes the settlement period. Our job reads the report and posts one balanced entry in Zoho Books: sales, referral fees, FBA fees, the refund and any reserve, all to a marketplace clearing account.
Stop 6Day 16 · Reconcile
The net payout arrives in your bank feed and matches the clearing account balance, which drops to zero. Margin by SKU and channel is ready for the month-end review.
Sample order and dates. Amazon sets the settlement period, any reserve held back and when the deposit reaches your bank.
04Amazon + Zoho
Zoho Inventory does the daily work with Amazon. The others take what Inventory hands them, plus one small custom piece for settlements.
Built-in channel
Imports Amazon orders from a start date you pick, matches items by SKU, name or both, and pushes stock changes back to Amazon. FBA items get a fulfilment request from the sales order. Read more on Zoho Inventory.
Same organization
Shares items, customers and invoices with Inventory. Settlement entries, the clearing account and the bank match live here. See Zoho Books.
Custom piece
A scheduled job on Zoho Catalyst reads settlement reports through Amazon’s Selling Partner API and posts them to Books. Very large report volumes can run on AWS Lambda instead.
When you sell B2B
Holds wholesale and Amazon Business accounts you sell to directly, with order history from Books. Amazon’s own data rules decide what buyer detail you may keep, so we don’t build mailing lists from it. See Zoho CRM.
Three or more channels
Margin by SKU and channel after fees, return rates and stock cover in one view. Included with Zoho Inventory Enterprise. See Zoho Analytics.
05Try it · channel volume picker (sample)
Pick your channels and your monthly orders across all of them. The panel shows which Zoho apps carry the load, the Zoho Inventory plan your volume points to at official US prices, and what we’d check first.
Sample stack
Sample only. Zoho Inventory plans count sales orders a month and also cap users and warehouses, so we confirm the plan against your real order history before you subscribe.
06What it costs to run
Amazon charges a selling plan plus fees on every sale; Zoho Inventory charges by orders a month. Each Zoho plan also caps users and warehouses, not only orders.
Amazon US selling plans
| Individual | $0.99 per item sold |
|---|---|
| Professional | $39.99 a month |
On top of either plan, a referral fee per item: a percentage of the total price that depends on the category, with a $0.30 minimum in most categories. FBA fulfilment and storage are charged separately, and all of it appears in the settlement report.
Zoho Inventory, per organization a month
| Plan | Yearly | Monthly | Orders |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 50 |
| Standard | $29 | $39 | 500 |
| Premium | $79 | $99 | 3,000 |
| Plus | $129 | $159 | 7,500 |
| Enterprise | $249 | $299 | 15,000 |
For our part, the SKU cleanup, channel setup, FBA handling and the settlement job are scoped together and written into a signed BRD at one fixed price. A catalog with thousands of messy SKUs may need a short paid SKU review first, priced before it starts; the first call costs nothing.
07Amazon + Zoho questions
FBA, settlements, stock across channels and currencies. Bring one recent settlement report to the first call and we’ll show you where each line would land.
Yes. Amazon is a built-in sales channel in Zoho Inventory. Orders from your chosen start date come in as sales orders, items are matched by SKU, name or both, and stock changes you make in Zoho Inventory are pushed to Amazon. You can also fetch Amazon’s stock counts once during the first sync.
Yes. For FBA items, creating an outbound shipment from the sales order sends a fulfilment request to Amazon; items you ship yourself on the same order go out separately. FBA tracking and FBA warehouse mapping cannot be switched on at the same time, so we choose one with you.
Yes, with a settlement step we add. Amazon pays a net amount after referral fees, FBA fees, refunds and reserves. We read each settlement report and post it to Zoho Books as one balanced entry through a clearing account, so the bank deposit matches it exactly.
Zoho Inventory becomes the one stock count. An order on either channel commits units there, and the new available quantity is pushed to every connected channel. Clean SKUs are what make it work, which is why mapping comes first.
Amazon’s Individual plan costs $0.99 per item sold and suits a few items a month; Professional is $39.99 a month. Sellers who need a connected setup like this one are almost always on Professional, and we plan around it.
Zoho Inventory needs its base currency to match the channel’s currency, so a US dollar organization cannot take Canadian or Mexican peso orders directly. The usual answers are a separate Zoho organization per currency or a custom import; we compare both on the first call.
Not as a mailing list. Amazon restricts how sellers store and use buyer contact details. Zoho CRM is for wholesale and Amazon Business accounts you also sell to directly, plus channel-level sales history from Zoho Books.
The first call is free. SKU cleanup, channel setup, FBA handling, the settlement job and alerts then go into a signed BRD at a fixed price with a delivery schedule. Very large or messy catalogs may get a short paid SKU review first, quoted up front.
08How an Amazon integration starts
Four steps from “we reconcile Amazon in a spreadsheet” to a signed plan. Most sellers can be scoped from a SKU export and a single settlement report.
We work with sellers across the US, Canada and Latin America over video, and visit warehouses around Los Angeles when walking the shelves helps.
Once signed, the build follows our dated delivery plan. See how we work →
