What doesn’t move from a spreadsheet to Zoho CRM?
Formulas, macros, colors, pivot tables and charts stay in the file. We rebuild what they did as formula fields, workflow rules, views and dashboards. Cell comments don’t export, so we copy the important ones into a notes column first.
How do you handle duplicate rows?
We agree a rule with you, usually matching on email or phone, and Zoho CRM’s import checks those fields as rows load. Merges show up in the validation report, and the original file stays untouched in case a merge needs undoing.
Can you migrate from both Excel and Google Sheets?
Yes. Zoho CRM imports CSV, XLS and XLSX files, and a Google Sheet exports to either. Several files with different columns are fine; we map each one.
Our tabs have different columns. Is that a problem?
No. Each tab gets its own column map in the Migration BRD, and rows from different tabs can land in the same Zoho CRM module once the values agree.
Do we have to stop using the spreadsheet during the move?
Only on the freeze date near the end. Until then your team works as usual; a catch-up pass brings across rows added after the full move.
How long does a spreadsheet migration take?
It depends on how many files and copies you have and how messy they are, more than on row count. Your Migration BRD carries dated steps counted back from your go-live target.
How much does it cost to move from spreadsheets to Zoho CRM?
A fixed fee under one of three packages: Quick, Standard or Complex Move. The first call is free. Messier files often start with a paid Migration Assessment, credited in full, and the fee is set in a signed BRD.
Who signs off the migration?
Each team that edits the sheet names a lead who signs the Migration BRD and later its sample. The person who owns the project signs last, and each approval is logged.
What happens to our spreadsheets after go-live?
They go read-only through the rollback window, and you keep the original files. You archive them only once the team is settled in Zoho CRM.
