Contacts, accounts, deals and every email and call logged against them.
Zoho migration · US partner · Los Angeles
Records, history and files get a mapped home in Zoho before anything moves, and the switch is timed around your busy days.
Elite Tech Global is a certified Zoho Advanced Partner in Glendale, near Los Angeles. We plan the move, migrate a sample that each department checks and signs off, then run the full load with a catch-up pass and a validation report. At cutover your old tool turns read-only, and it is canceled only when you confirm.

Nine routes have a full plan of their own, with a field map and package details. The tools tagged “We move this too” get the same method, just without a page yet. Tap one and we’ll start your request in the form below.
Contacts, accounts, deals and every email and call logged against them.
Chart of accounts, open invoices and bills, with opening balances checked against your old books.
Tickets with their threads, help-center articles and the customers who wrote in.
Projects, task lists, owners, due dates and the files people attached along the way.
Mailboxes, folders, contacts and calendars, then the DNS switch on your domain.
Employee records, time-off balances and year-to-date pay, checked against your last payroll run before the first one in Zoho.
No dedicated page yet for these. Same method, same packages. Tap a tool to request the move.
Spreadsheets, an old Access database or a tool built in-house all count. If it can export, we can map it.
02The six legs of every move
Every switch to Zoho follows our 15-step migration process, grouped here into six legs. The order matters: each department signs off a sample before the full move, a validation report proves the counts match, and the old tool is only set to read-only at cutover. See all 15 steps →
We list what lives in the old system: objects, custom fields, users, attachments, automations and the reports people open every Monday. We also check renewal dates and set a stopper date, the last safe day on the old tool.
The field map, rebuild list, stopper dates and acceptance checks go into a Migration BRD. Each department’s lead and your project owner sign it before any data moves.
A representative sample from each department lands in Zoho first. Its lead clicks through their own records and signs off, so a field in the wrong place gets fixed while that is still cheap.
Everything moves, then a catch-up pass picks up what changed in the meantime. You get a validation report with before and after counts, and department users test on real data.
Go-live lands before the stopper date. The old tool goes read-only rather than away, and a rollback window with a named owner is agreed in writing beforehand.
Role-based sessions on your own migrated records, so reps, accountants or agents learn Zoho by finding their actual customers, invoices or tickets. The old subscription is canceled only after you confirm.
03Three sizes of move
Most moves fit one of three packages. The size depends on how much data you have, how custom the old system got and how many tools hang off it. Whichever fits, the fee is fixed in a signed BRD, so the price of your migration never depends on how many hours it takes us. Should you add a new requirement after sign-off, it gets its own price, and nothing on it starts until you approve.
Quick Move
One fixed fee, written into the BRD you sign before the first export.
Standard Move
Priced once for the whole scope and agreed in a signed BRD, before any record leaves the old tool.
Complex Move
A fixed fee per phase, each one set out in the BRD. Scope you add later is quoted as a separate change for you to approve.
Start here: Migration Assessment
Not sure which package fits? We open up the old system with you and come back with a plan you can hold us to. It’s a paid piece of work, and every dollar of it comes off the migration fee if you go ahead with us. If you don’t, the documents are yours to keep.
Ask about an assessment04Honest expectations
Record count matters less than people think. What really sets the pace of a Zoho migration is how tidy the data is, how much custom logic the old tool picked up over the years and how quickly someone on your side can say yes to the field map.
05Before you commit
Usually it’s the renewal invoice, or the fifth tool that refuses to talk to the other four. Zoho puts sales, accounting, support, projects and email on one platform with one login, and Zoho One bundles the whole suite under a single license.
06Your first four steps
The first call costs nothing. After that, a small move can often be scoped straight from the conversation; a bigger one goes through the paid Migration Assessment above, credited back in full once the migration goes ahead.
Which tool you’re leaving, why, and what can’t break during the move.
How your team uses the old system day to day, including the workarounds.
What moves, what gets archived and which package fits, settled together.
Field map, stopper date and the fixed migration fee, signed by each department lead before export.
Migrations run online for teams across the US, Canada and Latin America, and we’ll come by in Southern California for cutover day if you’d like a hand on site. See how we work →
07Questions before the move
Downtime, cost, history and what happens to the old tool. If your question is about one specific source, its own migration page goes deeper.
A Zoho migration partner moves your data and day-to-day work out of another tool and into Zoho. We take inventory of the old system, write a Migration BRD that each department signs, move a sample for sign-off, then run the full move with a catch-up pass and a validation report. At cutover the old tool becomes read-only, with a rollback window, and we train your team. Elite Tech Global is a certified Zoho Advanced Partner based in Glendale, near Los Angeles.
We have published migration plans for Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive to Zoho CRM, QuickBooks to Zoho Books, Zendesk to Zoho Desk, Asana to Zoho Projects, Google Workspace to Zoho Mail, Gusto to Zoho Payroll and BambooHR to Zoho People. We also move monday.com, Smartsheet, Xero, FreshBooks, Freshdesk, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, ADP, Rippling, Mailchimp, DocuSign, Slack, Shopify and many other tools into the matching Zoho app.
Each move is sized as a Quick, Standard or Complex package, and the fee is fixed in a signed BRD before any data is exported. Bigger moves usually start with a paid Migration Assessment, and that fee is credited in full against the migration if you go ahead. The first call is free. Zoho licenses are billed separately by Zoho.
Very little, in most moves. People keep working in the old tool while the sample and full migration run, and the cutover happens in a window you choose, often an evening or weekend. Expect a short freeze on edits while the catch-up pass loads the last changes; after that the old tool stays available read-only.
In most cases, yes: notes, past activities, closed deals, old tickets and attachments can travel, depending on what the source system lets us export. Where something can’t be imported cleanly, we say so in the field map and agree an archive option before the move starts.
Custom code, automations, scheduled reports and third-party integrations are rebuilt in Zoho rather than copied, because the logic works differently on each platform. We list each one during inventory and the BRD says which ones we rebuild.
It depends on the package, the amount of history, attachments and custom logic, and how quickly the field map is approved. The exact timeline, counted back from your stopper date and including the sample sign-off and cutover, is written into the Migration BRD before work starts.
There’s a written rollback window with a named trigger and owner, agreed before cutover. Your old tool is set to read-only, not canceled, so the data is still there if the validation checks don’t match, and the subscription ends only after you confirm.
On your side, each department’s point of contact (usually the department head) signs their part of the Migration BRD and then their sample, and one overall project owner signs the whole plan and confirms go-live. Nothing moves in bulk until those signatures are in.
If you’re replacing one tool for one team, the single Zoho app is usually enough. When you’re moving several tools at once, Zoho One often works out simpler because one license covers the suite. We compare both for your headcount on the first call.
Yes, and it’s the best moment to do it. During inventory we flag duplicates, empty fields and records nobody has opened in years, then agree rules for merging or archiving them in the field map. The cleanup happens on the way in, so Zoho starts tidy.
