01Why Zoho Commerce
Because the store isn’t a separate island. Zoho Commerce is built on top of Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory, so an order on your website is already a sales order, a stock movement and an invoice. Add no transaction fees, users included in every plan and B2B tools on Premium, and the case gets simple for small online stores and wholesalers. These are the six reasons we hear most.
Zoho Commerce runs on the same engine as Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books. When the two are connected, customers, items, taxes and orders stay in sync, and online orders turn into invoices without a connector app in the middle.
Zoho lists a 0% transaction fee on every Zoho Commerce plan. You still pay your payment provider’s card rate, like you would anywhere, but Zoho doesn’t take its own cut on top.
Shopify: extra 0.6–2% with an outside payment providerOn Premium and Plus, price lists mark prices up or down for a customer group, and buyers can send a request for quote from the store. You reply with a quote, they accept it in their customer portal, and it becomes a sales order.
Standard includes 2 users, Professional 5 and Premium 10. Someone else in the warehouse? Extra users are $2.50 a month on a yearly plan, so a new packer doesn’t force a plan change.
From Professional, live shipping rates quote the real carrier price from the box size and the address. Zoho Commerce connects to US carriers and shipping tools like UPS, USPS and EasyPost, and in-store pickup works on every plan.
Every plan tracks abandoned carts and lets you email the shopper what they left behind. Add coupons, a loyalty program and a Zoho Campaigns sync, and your repeat-order emails run from real purchase data.
02Follow one order
Here’s a single order on a Zoho Commerce store we’d set up for a small US brand. A shopper finds a product on Google, leaves, comes back, pays, and gets a box two days later. Scroll and the receipt prints as it goes. Every line is something your team doesn’t have to retype.
Your catalog feeds Google Merchant Center, so the house blend shows up in Google Shopping. The shopper lands on the product page, picks a grind and adds two bags.
In Zoho Commerce: Integrations · Google Shopping
The cart sits under Abandoned Carts with the shopper’s email. A reminder goes out with the items still in it, plus a first-order coupon we set up for exactly this moment.
In Zoho Commerce: Carts · Abandoned · Coupons
Back on the site, the shopper sees a live UPS rate for the actual box and the sales tax for a Denver address. They pay by card through Stripe. Zoho adds no transaction fee.
In Zoho Commerce: Live shipping rates · Taxes · Stripe
The order shows up as a sales order with the stock reserved. Because the store runs on Zoho Inventory, the website, your wholesale portal and the warehouse all see the same count.
In Zoho Commerce: Orders · Items · Locations
Someone in the warehouse picks the order, packs it and marks it shipped with the UPS tracking number. The shopper gets the shipping email and can follow the box from their account.
In Zoho Commerce: Orders · Shipments · Customer portal
The invoice and payment are in Zoho Books, with the Colorado tax in the liability report. The shopper earns loyalty points and lands in Zoho Campaigns for the reorder email in three weeks.

03Try it · sample store
Zoho Commerce stores are built from themes you edit section by section: layout, brand colors and fonts. Pick a few below and watch the sample store change. Then flip it to wholesale and see what your B2B buyers would get: their own price list and a “Request a quote” button.

04Switching stores
A Zoho Commerce migration moves the things your store can’t live without: products and variants, images, customers, open orders and the URLs Google already knows. Pick the platform you’re on to see where everything lands. We set up 301 redirects from your old product pages so search traffic follows you to the new store.

05Zoho Commerce pricing in the US
Zoho Commerce is priced per organization, and each plan includes a set number of users. Billed yearly in USD, Standard is $15 a month, Professional $49, Premium $79 and Plus $129. Billed monthly, they’re $19, $59, $99 and $159. Every plan lists a 0% transaction fee. Answer three questions and we’ll point you to a plan.
| Zoho Commerce plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Users · items | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $15 | $19 | 2 · 500 | A first online store with a small catalog | |
| $49 | $59 | 5 · 2,500 | Growing stores that ship nationwide and sell digital goods | |
| $79 | $99 | 10 · 10,000 | B2B sellers and brands with wholesale accounts | |
| $129 | $159 | 10 · 10,000 | Sellers who buy, count and pick stock in-house |
Zoho’s US list prices in USD, per organization per month, before tax. Extra users: $2.50 per user per month billed yearly, $3 billed monthly. Extra locations (Premium and up): $10 per location per month billed yearly, $12 billed monthly. Payment provider fees are separate. Building your store with us is quoted separately: one fixed price, written into a signed BRD before any products are loaded.
06Zoho Commerce vs Shopify and the rest
On subscription price alone, Zoho Commerce is the lower number at every tier we compared. The bigger difference is what comes attached: Zoho Commerce shares its backend with inventory and accounting, while the others usually need apps or a separate accounting tool to get there. Here are the published US prices, then our honest take on who should pick what.
| Store platform | Entry plan | Middle plan | Top published plan | Fees and limits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $15Standard, 2 users | $49Professional, 5 users | $129Plus, 10 users | 0% transaction fee on every plan. Shares one backend with Zoho Inventory and Books | |
| $29Basic | $79Grow | $299Advanced | Extra 2%, 1% or 0.6% per sale if you don’t use Shopify Payments. Shopify Plus is quote-based | |
| BigCommerce | $29Standard | $79Plus | $299Pro | No transaction fee. Plans have yearly sales limits that move you up a tier |
| Wix | $29Core | VariesBusiness | $159Business Elite | Website builder first, store second. Monthly billing costs more |
| Squarespace | VariesCore | VariesPlus | $99Advanced | We confirm current Core and Plus prices on a call |
Same tier, same year: Zoho Commerce Professional is $360 less than Shopify Grow or BigCommerce Plus. On Shopify, using a payment provider other than Shopify Payments adds 1% of sales on Grow, on top of that.
The number that isn’t in this chart: inventory and accounting. On Zoho, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books sit on the same backend as the store, and all three come in the Zoho One bundle.
Where Shopify is the better fit: we’re a Shopify Partner too, and we’ll tell you when it wins. If you’re a direct-to-consumer brand that lives on social selling, marketplaces and thousands of ready-made apps and themes, or you need retail POS hardware across many stores, Shopify is usually the stronger choice. See our Shopify services. A content-heavy site with a handful of products can also be happy on Wix or Squarespace, and a very large catalog may suit BigCommerce. Bring your catalog size and sales channels to the first call and we’ll name the platform we’d pick.
List prices in USD per month, billed yearly, as published by each vendor for the US. Payment processing rates are separate on every platform. Zoho, Shopify and the others reprice plans and add-ons often, so we re-check them against your order volume before you commit.
07Zoho Commerce integrations
The Zoho Commerce integrations we set up most are the Zoho apps first (Inventory, Books, CRM, Campaigns and SalesIQ), then payments, carriers and Google Shopping. Hover or tap a tile to see what moves between them. If something isn’t on the list, Zoho Commerce has webhooks and an API, and we build the bridge.
08Four ways in
Every Zoho Commerce implementation gets its own scope and a fixed price in a signed BRD. Store projects we take on usually match one of these four. After launch, our Zoho Commerce consultants keep providing support and training, from new product drops to seasonal sales.

Want AI / SI in the mix? Zoho Commerce can connect to AI / SI assistants through its own MCP server. We set that up on Zoho MCP projects, with access limited to what each assistant should touch. Selling subscriptions instead of one-off orders? Zoho Billing is usually the better home for recurring plans.
09Before you switch
Zoho Commerce pricing, Shopify comparisons, B2B selling and migration, answered plainly. Still weighing your own store or catalog? Show us your catalog on a discovery call and we’ll map it to Zoho Commerce. The first one is free.
Zoho Commerce is Zoho’s ecommerce platform for building and running an online store. It covers the storefront and themes, checkout, payments, shipping, US sales tax, coupons, abandoned carts, a customer portal and B2B tools like price lists and quote requests. It is built on top of Zoho Inventory and Zoho Books, so orders, stock and invoices share one backend.
Zoho Commerce is priced per organization with users included. Billed yearly in USD, Standard is $15 a month (2 users), Professional $49 (5 users), Premium $79 (10 users) and Plus $129 (10 users). Billed monthly, the plans are $19, $59, $99 and $159. Extra users are $2.50 a month on a yearly plan. Launching your Zoho Commerce store with us is its own fixed price, written into a signed BRD.
It depends on how you sell. Zoho Commerce usually wins for small US stores and B2B sellers who want the store, inventory and accounting in one system with no platform transaction fee. Shopify is usually the better choice for direct-to-consumer brands that rely on its large app and theme marketplace, social and marketplace channels, or retail POS across many locations. We are a Shopify Partner as well as a Zoho Advanced Partner, so we recommend whichever fits.
Zoho lists a 0% transaction fee on every Zoho Commerce plan. You still pay the normal processing rate of your payment provider, such as Stripe or PayPal, but Zoho does not add its own fee on each sale.
Yes. On the Premium and Plus plans you can set price lists for customer groups, accept requests for quote from your store and send quotes back, and buyers can review quotes, reorder and track orders in their customer portal. We often connect this to Zoho Books for invoices and payment terms.
Yes, closely. Zoho Commerce is built on top of Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory, so when they are connected your customers, items, taxes and orders stay in sync, stock updates across channels and online orders become invoices in Zoho Books.
Yes. Our Zoho Commerce migration moves products and variants, images, customers, order history, coupons and content, and we set up 301 redirects from your old URLs so search traffic follows. We run test orders on the new store before the domain switches over.
It depends on the size of your catalog, how much history moves across, and which integrations, B2B rules and custom design you need. The signed BRD puts a date on each step: catalog import, theme, payments and shipping, test orders and the domain switch, so you know your launch day before we start.
Yes. Zoho Commerce for small business starts at $15 a month billed yearly with hosting, SSL, a custom domain, themes, coupons and abandoned cart tracking included. Most small US stores move up to Professional at $49 when they want live shipping rates and more automation.
For payments, the US setups we see most use Stripe for cards or PayPal. For shipping, Zoho Commerce connects to UPS, USPS and shipping tools like EasyPost, with live carrier rates at checkout from the Professional plan, plus local pickup.
Yes. We are a Shopify Partner as well as a certified Zoho Advanced Partner. If Shopify fits your business better than Zoho Commerce, we will tell you on the first call and can build it on Shopify instead.
Yes. After launch our Zoho Commerce consultants provide ongoing support, help with new products, sales and theme changes, and Zoho Commerce training for new staff, online or on-site in Southern California.
Yes. Abandoned cart tracking is included from the Standard plan at $15 a month billed yearly, along with coupons, themes, hosting and SSL, so you can see which shoppers left before checkout.
SI stands for super intelligence. In September 2026 a US executive order asked federal agencies to use “super intelligence” or “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” in official communications. Most businesses still say AI, so we use both terms.
10How a Zoho Commerce project starts
Four steps pin down what your store needs and what it costs, in writing, before we touch a theme. A simple new store is often scoped on the first call. Bigger jobs, like a replatform with thousands of products or a B2B portal tied to Zoho Inventory and Books, may need a paid scoping and BRD phase, and we’ll quote that up front.
Zoho Commerce builds run online for stores across the US, Canada and Latin America, and we come by in person around Los Angeles and Southern California for training.
