Zoho Zia setup and consulting for US businesses

Zoho’s AI (now also called SI, super intelligence) is already inside your apps. Most teams just never switch it on properly.

Zia scores leads in Zoho CRM, reads the mood of tickets in Zoho Desk and answers questions in Zoho Analytics. As a certified Zoho partner working out of Glendale, near Los Angeles, we check your editions, clean the data Zia learns from, switch on the right features, build Zia Agents and train your team.

01Why Zoho Zia

Why US teams on Zoho use Zia before buying another AI tool

Zoho Zia is the AI built into Zoho’s apps. You don’t buy it separately: it comes with certain editions of Zoho CRM, Desk, Analytics and Books, it learns from the records you already keep, and it can now run agents on Zoho’s own models or on the outside model you prefer. Six reasons it’s worth setting up well.

  1. 01

It’s part of the license you already pay for

Zia’s predictions, anomaly alerts and assistant come with Zoho CRM Enterprise and Ultimate. Zoho Desk Professional and up includes Zia’s generative and predictive tools. There’s no separate AI seat to buy.

    Microsoft 365 Copilot: $30 per user add-on

  2. 02

    Predictions trained on your records

Zia scores leads and deals, predicts churn and win chances, and Prediction Builder lets you predict a custom field. It learns from your own history, so clean data matters.

  3. 03

    Alerts when something looks off

Anomaly detection watches trends in Zoho CRM and tells the right people when a number breaks pattern. In Zoho Books you can open any report chart and ask Zia to show anomalies or a forecast.

  4. 04

Ask in plain English, where you work

Ask Zia turns a question into a report in Zoho Analytics. In Zoho Books it creates invoices and quotes from a sentence while you watch. In Zoho Desk it sums up long threads.

  5. 05

    Zia Agents, built or borrowed

Pick a ready-made agent from the Zia Agents store or build your own in Zia Agent Studio, a no-code builder. Zoho doesn’t charge per agent, and agents don’t need their own Zoho CRM licenses.

    Agentforce: $125 per user add-on

  6. 06

Zoho’s own models, or the one you prefer

Zia can run on Zia LLM, hosted in Zoho’s own data centers, including in the US. Or connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Cohere with your own key, and that vendor bills you directly.

Zia works inside Zoho. To let outside agents like Claude or ChatGPT act in Zoho, there’s Zoho MCP. Most teams end up using both, and our AI / SI software team builds on either.

02Three apps, one assistant

What does Zoho Zia actually do inside Zoho CRM, Desk and Analytics?

Zia isn’t a chat window bolted onto the side. It shows up as scores on records, alerts on dashboards, drafts in the reply box and answers in the search bar. Pick an app to see one ordinary Tuesday morning, with sample data.

04Zoho Zia pricing in the US

How much does Zoho Zia cost? It depends on the edition, app by app

Zoho Zia has no price tag of its own. Each Zoho app includes Zia from a certain edition up, so the real question is which edition you’re on. Below is where Zia starts in the apps we set it up in most, with Zoho’s US list prices billed yearly. Highlighted steps include Zia’s main features.

    Zoho CRM

    per user / month
    1. Free$0 · 3 users
    2. Standard$14
    3. Professional$23
    4. Enterprise$40
    5. Ultimate$52

Enterprise and Ultimate add Zia’s predictions, anomaly detectors, recommendations, conversational AI and workflow suggestions. Ultimate allows more prediction models. Zoho also lists AI agents on lower paid editions, and we confirm the exact cut-off for your account. Monthly billing: $20, $35, $50, $65.

    Zoho Desk

    per agent / month
    1. Express$7
    2. Standard$14

    Zoho Books

    per organization / month

Zoho Books has Ask Zia, the CoCreate agent for quotes and invoices, report forecasts and anomaly views, and Zia insights. An admin switches each one on under AI Preferences and picks the model. Zoho doesn’t publish an edition-by-edition list for these, so we check your plan on a call before promising anything. Zoho Books plans →

05Zia vs the other AI assistants

Zoho Zia vs Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft Copilot and HubSpot Breeze

All four put AI next to your customer data. The big difference is how you pay. Zoho Zia comes with the edition, while Salesforce and Microsoft sell their AI as a per-user add-on and HubSpot meters its agents with credits. If your business already runs on Zoho, Zia is usually the cheapest place to start.

    Extra AI cost for a 20-person sales team, for one yearon top of the CRM or office plan you already pay. Zia: moving 20 users from Zoho CRM Professional ($23) to Enterprise ($40) = $17 × 20 × 12. Copilot: $30 × 20 × 12. Agentforce add-on: $125 × 20 × 12.
    • Zoho Zia$4,080
    • M365 Copilot$7,200
    • Agentforce$30,000

And the Zia number buys more than AI: the Enterprise upgrade also adds deeper customization and more automation in Zoho CRM. Already on Enterprise? Your extra Zia cost is $0.

Why we point Zoho customers to Zia first

    1. No second bill. Zia is part of the edition, so turning it on for every user costs nothing extra.
    2. It learns from the data already in Zoho, so there’s no export, no sync and no second copy of your customer records.
    3. You can pick the model. Zia LLM stays in Zoho’s data centers. Or bring OpenAI, Anthropic or Google on your own key.
    4. Agents follow the Zoho roles and permissions you already maintain.
    5. When you want outside agents too, Zoho MCP opens the same apps to Claude or ChatGPT at no fee.

Where another tool can make sense: if your sales and service run on Salesforce, Agentforce sits next to that data and Zia can’t reach it. If your day lives in Outlook, Excel and Teams, Microsoft 365 Copilot helps with that work, and many Zoho customers pay for both. HubSpot Breeze suits teams whose marketing is already in HubSpot. Tell us where your customer data and documents live on the first call, and we’ll be honest about which assistant earns its cost.

List prices in USD. Agentforce shown at Salesforce’s add-on and Flex Credit list rates, which also need Salesforce licenses. Microsoft 365 Copilot needs a qualifying Microsoft 365 plan. HubSpot credit allowances vary by plan. Salesforce, Microsoft and HubSpot keep reworking how they charge for AI, so we re-check their add-on and credit rates before you compare.

What US owners ask us about Zoho Zia

Straight answers on Zoho Zia pricing, editions, agents, models and setup. Wondering about an edition, agent or model we didn’t cover? We’ll check what your editions include on a discovery call. The first one is free.

    What is Zoho Zia?

Zia is the AI assistant built into Zoho’s apps. It scores leads and deals, predicts outcomes, flags unusual changes in your numbers, answers plain-English questions, drafts replies and documents, and runs Zia Agents. It works inside Zoho CRM, Desk, Analytics, Books, Campaigns, Creator and other Zoho apps, using the data you already keep there.

How much does Zoho Zia cost in the USA?

Zia has no separate price. It comes with certain editions of each Zoho app. In Zoho CRM, Zia’s predictions and anomaly detection come with Enterprise at $40 and Ultimate at $52 per user per month, billed yearly. In Zoho Desk, Zia’s built-in tools come with Professional at $23 and Enterprise at $40 per agent. In Zoho Analytics, Ask Zia questions start with Standard at $48 a month for 5 users. Switching Zia on with us is quoted as its own fixed price in a signed BRD.

What are Zia Agents and Zia Agent Studio?

Zia Agents are AI agents that do tasks inside Zoho apps, such as qualifying leads or answering customers. You can pick a ready-made agent from the Zia Agents store or build your own in Zia Agent Studio, Zoho’s no-code agent builder. Zoho doesn’t charge per agent, and Zoho-hosted models include up to 30 million tokens a month at no charge.

Can Zoho Zia use ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?

Yes, in many apps. Zia can run on Zia LLM, Zoho’s own model hosted in its data centers, or you can connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google or Cohere with your own API key. With your own key, that vendor bills you directly. Which vendors each app supports varies, so we confirm it for your setup.

Does Zoho use our data to train its AI?

Zoho says its generic AI models are not trained on customer data and do not keep customer information, and Zia LLM runs in Zoho’s own data centers, including in the US. If you connect an outside model with your own key, that vendor’s terms also apply, so we review them with you.

Zoho Zia vs Salesforce Agentforce: which is better?

For a business on Zoho, Zia is usually the better value because it comes with the edition. Salesforce sells Agentforce as a $125 per user per month add-on or through Flex Credits at $500 per 100,000 credits, on top of Salesforce licenses. Agentforce makes sense if your sales and service already run on Salesforce.

Zoho Zia vs Microsoft Copilot or HubSpot Breeze?

Microsoft 365 Copilot costs $30 per user per month billed yearly and helps most inside Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams. HubSpot Breeze uses credits included in paid HubSpot plans, with more charged by usage. Zia works on the records in your Zoho apps at no extra license cost. Many Zoho customers use Zia for customer data and Copilot for office documents.

Is Zoho Zia worth it for a small business?

Often, yes, if you’re on the right edition. A small team on Zoho Desk Professional or Zoho Analytics Standard already has useful Zia features. In Zoho CRM, moving to Enterprise for Zia only pays off when you have enough clean history for predictions to work, and we’ll tell you honestly if you don’t yet.

Why aren’t Zia’s predictions accurate for us?

Usually it’s the data. Zia learns from your history, so missing close reasons, blank lead sources, duplicates and activity logged outside Zoho all weaken it. We fix those first, then review predictions against real outcomes after launch.

How long does Zoho Zia setup take?

It depends on how many apps, how clean your data is and whether you need custom agents. Before we change a single setting, the BRD lists each Zia feature, agent and data fix, and the delivery schedule gives every one a date.

We’re moving from Salesforce or HubSpot. Will Zia work right away?

Zia needs history to learn from, so your migration includes closed deals, past activities and old tickets along with open records. Predictions get useful once enough of that history is in Zoho, and we plan the rollout around it.

Do you provide Zoho Zia support and training after go-live?

Yes. We review Zia’s predictions and alerts with you, adjust agents and settings as your process changes, and run Zoho Zia training for new staff, online or on-site in Southern California.

Does Zoho Zia include a help center bot for customers?

Yes, in Zoho Desk. Answer Bot starts in Standard at $14 per agent per month, billed yearly, and we switch it on for your portal and chat, backed by help center articles that cover your top questions. Professional ($23) and Enterprise ($40) add Zia’s built-in generative, predictive and analytical tools, such as sentiment, ticket summaries and reply drafts.

    What is SI?

SI stands for super intelligence. In September 2026 a US executive order asked federal agencies to use “super intelligence” or “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” in official communications. Most businesses still say AI, so we use both terms.

10How a Zoho Zia project starts

First we find out what your editions already include

Many teams already pay for Zia and don’t know it. These four steps settle what Zia should do, which data it learns from and what the work costs, in writing, before we change a setting. A single-app setup is often scoped on the first call. Bigger jobs, like agents across several apps, may need a paid scoping and BRD phase, and we’ll quote that up front.

Zia projects run online for teams across the US, Canada and Latin America, and around Los Angeles and Southern California we can go through your data with you in person.
