What does a Zoho integration actually do?
It moves records between Zoho and another system without anyone retyping them. A Stripe payment marks a Zoho Books invoice paid, a Shopify order reserves stock in Zoho Inventory, a website form creates a Zoho CRM lead. A good integration also logs each run, retries when the other side is down and alerts a named person when something needs a human.
Which systems can you connect to Zoho?
Anything with an API, a webhook or a scheduled file export. The common ones are Stripe, PayPal, QuickBooks Online, Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress forms, Google and Microsoft email, AWS and in-house SQL databases. Use the search on this page to see how each one usually connects and which Zoho app the data lands in.
Zoho Flow, Zapier or custom code: which should we use?
We start with Zoho’s ready-made connector when one exists, then Zoho Flow for simple app-to-app steps, and custom code on Zoho Catalyst or AWS for high volume, two-way syncs or systems with no connector. Zapier and n8n can work too, and we’ll keep an existing setup if it is reliable. The choice goes in the BRD with the reason.
How much does a Zoho integration cost?
There are two parts. Platform fees, such as a Zoho Flow subscription, Catalyst or AWS usage and payment processor fees, are paid to each vendor. Building it is a single fixed fee, set out in a BRD you sign, covering each system, field map and error rule. The first call costs nothing.
What happens when an integration fails overnight?
Each event we send is logged with an ID, so a failed one is retried automatically and never posted twice when it finally goes through. If retries run out, the event waits in a failed queue and an alert goes to the person named in the BRD, with enough detail to fix and replay it in the morning.
Can you fix an integration someone else built?
Yes, and it is common. We first list every connection, what triggers it and which fields it writes, because two syncs editing the same field cause most of the strange behavior we find. Then we repair, merge or retire each one and test it on sample records before switching it back on.
Should we integrate with QuickBooks or move everything to Zoho Books?
If your accountant is settled in QuickBooks and the pain is only sales not seeing invoices, an integration with Zoho CRM is usually enough. If you are paying for two systems, fighting duplicate customers or already use Zoho Inventory, a full move to Zoho Books tends to be simpler over time. We lay out both on the first call.
What is SI?
SI stands for super intelligence. In September 2026 a US executive order asked federal agencies to use “super intelligence” or “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” in official communications. Most businesses still say AI, so we use both terms.
