Hire a Zoho integration developer who makes your systems agree

Orders retyped from the store, payments matched by hand, and a sync script nobody dares to touch since the person who wrote it left.

Our Zoho integration developers connect Zoho to the rest of your stack with REST APIs, webhooks, Zoho Flow, Deluge connections and, when the load calls for it, middleware on AWS. If the work centres on one Zoho product, plans begin at $300* a month, and your developer can be inside your systems 2 to 3 working days after you sign.

01When the gaps start costing you

Who needs a Zoho integration developer?

Any business where Zoho holds part of the truth and another system holds the rest. If people copy records between tools, or nobody can explain how a sync works, an integration specialist pays for the confusion they remove.

  • ShopifyZoho Books

Someone exports store orders every Monday and keys them into the books.

Orders, refunds and payout fees post to Zoho Books on their own, with the store order number on every entry.

  • Zoho CRM

Sales quotes prices that the ERP changed last week.

Items and price lists flow from the ERP into Zoho CRM on a schedule, and the ERP stays the source of truth.

  • QuickBooksZoho CRM

The same customer exists three times, spelled three ways, across CRM and accounting.

One matching rule, one shared ID, and a cleanup run before the sync goes live.

  • Zoho FlowZoho Desk

A flow failed quietly in March and nobody noticed until a customer complained.

Failures land in a queue, retry by themselves and alert a named person when they still will not go through.

  • AWS LambdaZoho Inventory

Flash sales flood the API and half the stock updates bounce.

A buffer on AWS takes the burst and feeds Zoho at a pace its API limits allow.

Need a custom app instead? If the job is a new Zoho Creator app, custom modules or Deluge features inside one Zoho account, you want a Zoho developer for Creator and Deluge builds. Integration developers work on the joins between systems.

02More than a working sync

What does a Zoho API developer actually hand you?

A connection that works on a bad day as well as a good one, plus the paperwork to prove it. These six pieces come with every integration your developer builds or takes over.

  • Before the build

A field map you sign off

Every field, which system owns it, how dates, currencies and picklists convert, and what happens to blanks.

  • Before the build

    Access set up properly

OAuth scopes kept narrow, keys stored in Zoho connections or your own AWS account, and no passwords pasted into scripts.

  • The build

    The connection itself

Zoho Flow where it is enough, Deluge functions and webhooks for business rules, REST calls or AWS Lambda when the load or logic outgrows both.

  • The build

    Errors that cannot vanish

Retries with sensible waits, duplicate checks so a repeated event never creates a second invoice, and a holding queue for records that fail.

  • Before go-live

    Test cases with awkward data

Partial refunds, merged contacts, deleted items and a burst of orders, run against sandbox data before anything touches live records.

  • After go-live

    Alerts and a runbook

A named person hears about failures, and a short written runbook explains each connection to whoever looks after it next.

03Both ends of the cable

Which systems can a Zoho integration specialist connect?

Ecommerce, payments, accounting, marketing, workplace tools, ERPs and anything else with a usable API. Pick a system to read how that particular connection works.

On the Zoho side, most work lands in Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Desk, with Zoho Flow as the glue for lighter jobs. Every connection we have published sits on the Zoho integrations hub.

04Try it · pick both ends

How would your developer connect your two systems?

Choose the other system, the Zoho app and how the data should move. The ladder lights the rung a developer would usually start on; the real choice comes after a look at both APIs.

1 · The other system
2 · The Zoho app
3 · Direction
4 · Timing
5 · Volume

  3. Zoho FlowTriggers and actions, little or no code
  4. Ready-made connectorBuilt-in or marketplace, checked for gaps

A one-way feed that should land within minutes is a good fit for Zoho Flow, with Deluge added if a rule gets tricky.

05Be honest about the job

Is a ready-made connector enough, or do you need a custom integration?

Plenty of pairs only need a connector set up with care. Custom work earns its keep when systems disagree, volumes spike or nothing off the shelf exists. Tap the lines that describe your setup and watch the rope.

06Four ways to engage, one entry price

What does it cost to hire a Zoho integration developer?

Plans that look after connections for one Zoho product start from $300* a month, for example everything feeding Zoho Books. When the work spans two or more Zoho products, we quote the plan instead.

  1. Monthly retainerYour developer keeps existing connections healthy and works through a ranked list of new ones.
  2. Dedicated teamIntegration developers, AWS engineers and QA on your projects, with the mix of roles agreed when you sign.
  3. Per-projectOne defined connection, such as ERP to Zoho Books, built for a fixed price that a signed BRD locks in.
  4. On-demand hoursA connector to set up, an API change to absorb or a broken sync to diagnose, billed by the hour used.

07From first call to first live connection

How do you start with a Zoho integration developer?

Five steps get you from hello to a live connection: talk it through, read our emailed proposal, sign, see your developer at work 2 to 3 working days later, then meet for regular check-ins. Scroll and the patch panel gets wired one step at a time.

  1. Step 1The call · free

Name every system that touches Zoho

Half an hour on the tools you run, the records that cross between them and the sync that hurts most. A rough list on a napkin is plenty; we sketch the connections with you.

  2. Step 2Proposal by email

    Your connection plan, in writing

Expect the engagement model, the hours per month, which roles cover your connections and how quickly we respond, along with the first connection we would take on and why.

  3. Step 3Contract

Sign for a month or for longer

Growing the plan, trimming it or ending it are all covered in the contract, so leaving is never a guessing game.

  4. Step 42 to 3 working days after signing

    Your developer plugs in

Read access to each system, a review of old keys and scripts, then the first connection fixed or rebuilt against test data before it meets live records.

  5. Step 5Ongoing

    Check-ins keep every cable labelled

You go over failed records, API usage and anything that changed on either side, then agree which connection to add or harden next.

09Before you hire

Questions about hiring a Zoho integration developer

Methods, cost, failures and who owns the result. If you can, bring a list of every tool that exchanges data with Zoho today.

What does a Zoho integration developer do?

They connect Zoho apps to the other systems you run, such as Shopify, Stripe, QuickBooks or an ERP. The work covers field mapping, authentication, the build itself in Zoho Flow, Deluge, REST APIs, webhooks or AWS, error handling, testing with awkward data, alerts and a runbook for each connection.

Do I need a Zoho integration developer or a Zoho developer?

If the job is moving data between Zoho and another system, you want an integration developer. If it is a new Creator app, custom modules or Deluge features inside Zoho, hire a Zoho developer. Plenty of plans include both roles, and the mix is agreed when you sign.

How much does it cost to hire a Zoho integration developer?

A plan that covers connections for one Zoho product starts from $300 a month. Work across two or more Zoho products is quoted, and a single defined connection can be a per-project build priced once in a signed BRD. Zoho and the other vendors bill their own licences.

When is Zoho Flow enough, and when do you write code?

Zoho Flow suits simple triggers and actions between apps it already knows. Your developer moves to Deluge, webhooks or REST calls once you need business rules, two-way updates or careful duplicate checks, and to middleware on AWS for heavy volume or long-running jobs.

Can you connect Zoho to our ERP or an in-house database?

Yes, as long as the system offers an API, a database we are allowed to read, or scheduled file exports. Your developer agrees which system owns each record, then builds the sync with a matching key so records never double up.

What happens when an integration fails?

Failed records go to a holding queue instead of disappearing, retries run on their own, and a named person is alerted when a record still will not go through. How fast we respond is written into your proposal, not promised on this page.

How do you work within Zoho API limits?

Zoho apps meter API calls, and most other vendors cap requests too. Your developer batches calls, syncs only changed records and, when traffic arrives in bursts, puts a queue in front of Zoho so updates wait their turn instead of failing.

Who owns the integration code and credentials?

You do. Functions live in your Zoho account, middleware runs in your own AWS account where possible, and keys are issued in your name. The runbook means your own team, or anyone else, can take over later.

10The first weeks

What does your integration developer do first?

Four jobs, in this order, before any new connection is switched on.

The work runs remotely, so a team in Chicago, Vancouver or Bogotá gets the same developer. Companies near Los Angeles can map their systems with us in person at the Glendale office.
