WordPress SEO services that fix what search engines see

Your snippet is the first sales line most buyers read. We make sure it says the right thing.

WordPress SEO is the work that lets search engines crawl, understand and show your pages well: clean URLs, titles and descriptions per template, a sitemap, schema, redirects and fast pages. With a team led from Glendale, in the Los Angeles area, we audit WordPress sites for US businesses, fix the technical side in the theme and in Yoast or Rank Math, and send the leads that search brings in straight into Zoho CRM.

01Who this is for

When does WordPress SEO work move the needle?

Technical WordPress SEO helps most when good pages are being held back by the site itself: blocked crawling, duplicate URLs, missing redirects, slow templates. It helps least when the real gap is content nobody has written yet. Here is the honest sorting we do on the first call.

Fits

Traffic fell after a redesign

Old URLs that now return 404, lost titles, a staging copy left indexable. These are fixable, and usually the fastest wins we see.

Fits

Search Console is full of warnings

Pages “Crawled, currently not indexed”, duplicate canonicals, sitemap errors. Each one has a cause in the theme or a plugin setting.

Fits

You serve several cities or services

Location and service pages need their own templates, schema and internal links so they don’t compete with each other.

Fits

A move to WordPress is coming

Leaving Wix, Squarespace or an old CMS is when rankings are easiest to lose. A redirect map written first protects them.

Look elsewhere

You need fifty new articles

We fix structure and templates. A content program needs writers who know your trade; we’ll set up the site so their work gets found.

Look elsewhere

Someone promised page one by Friday

Nobody controls rankings. Anyone guaranteeing a position is selling something we won’t.

02WordPress SEO services

What our WordPress SEO consulting covers

We work where WordPress SEO actually lives: the theme’s templates, the SEO plugin’s settings, the server and Search Console. Six kinds of work come up again and again for US sites, and a typical engagement picks three or four.

  1. Technical audit

A full crawl of the site compared with your sitemap and Search Console, so we know which URLs exist, which should, and which search engines are wasting time on.

  2. Title and meta templates

Rules for every post type and taxonomy in Yoast or Rank Math, so a new service page or blog post gets a sensible title and description without anyone remembering to write one.

  3. Schema markup

JSON-LD for your organization, local business details, breadcrumbs, articles and products, checked against what is visible on the page so it stays honest.

  4. Redesign and migration redirects

Every old URL matched to its new home with a 301, tested before launch day and watched in Search Console for the weeks after.

  5. Speed for search

Core Web Vitals work on the templates that rank: image sizes, font loading, script cleanup and caching on your host. More detail lives on our hosting and security page.

  6. Local and multi-location pages

A location post type with its own fields, map and service-area schema, built so twenty city pages read as twenty pages, with no copy-paste between them.

03A technical pass, item by item

What did a technical SEO pass find on a 140-page WordPress site?

A sample HVAC contractor in Riverside, CA, two years after a redesign by another agency. Calls from search had slowed and nobody knew why. As you scroll, each item on the ribbon gets ticked off, with what we found and what we changed.

  1. Crawl

412 URLs for 140 real pages

FoundTag archives, attachment pages and comment-reply links all open to crawlers.

ChangedThin archives set to noindex, media pages redirected to the file’s parent post.

  2. Indexing

The staging site was in search

FoundA staging subdomain with the same content, fully indexable, splitting signals.

ChangedStaging put behind a password, removal requested in Search Console.

  3. Redirects

38 old URLs still returned 404

FoundThe redesign renamed service pages and nobody mapped the old addresses.

ChangedOne 301 per old URL, pointing at the closest new page, never at the homepage.

  4. Speed

A 1.9 MB hero photo on every service page

FoundUncompressed images and a slider plugin loading on pages that had no slider.

ChangedWebP images sized per breakpoint, the hero preloaded, the slider removed.

  5. Schema

No local business markup at all

FoundAddress and hours only existed as text in the footer.

ChangedHVACBusiness and BreadcrumbList JSON-LD, matched to the visible contact details.

  6. Internal links

Eleven city pages with no links in

FoundThe city pages existed but only the sitemap pointed at them.

ChangedA “Areas we cover” block on each service page, filled from the location post type.

  7. Search Console

    Nobody had looked since launch

FoundAn old sitemap URL still submitted, returning an error.

ChangedThe plugin’s sitemap submitted, and the Page indexing report reviewed weekly for six weeks.

Sample site, city and numbers. Every item above maps to a setting, a template file or a server rule that we hand over in writing.

Write a title and description, see where they get cut

Search engines trim snippets by pixel width, so a title of capital letters gets cut sooner than one of lowercase. Type below and the meters measure your text the way a results page roughly would. Treat the limits as a guide: Google can rewrite either line when it thinks another fits the query better.

SCSummit Coast Roofing

Sample business and text. The pixel limits used here (about 600 px for titles, about 920 px for desktop descriptions and 680 px on mobile) are common rules of thumb, not published numbers.

    05WordPress SEO + Zoho

Can Zoho show which pages bring in customers?

Yes, if the site passes the right details along. Rankings and visits are only half the picture; the other half is which landing page a paying customer first arrived on. These three set-ups connect WordPress search traffic to the records your sales team already works in.

    Landing page formLead

The landing page travels with the lead

Hidden fields on a Zoho CRM web form (or a Zoho Forms embed) store the page URL and campaign tags, so the lead record says “arrived on /water-heaters/ from organic search”.

    Chat on the pageContact

Visitors who chat are tied to the page they read

Zoho SalesIQ on your WordPress pages shows the pages a visitor has viewed in this session, and pushes the chat into Zoho CRM as a lead or contact when they leave details.

    VisitsRevenue by page

Visits and closed deals on one report

Zoho Analytics can pull Google Analytics data next to Zoho CRM deals, so a report ranks landing pages by revenue won, not by visits alone.

    06WordPress SEO costs

What does WordPress SEO cost in tools?

Less than most people expect. WordPress and its built-in sitemap are free, Google Search Console is free, and both main SEO plugins have free versions that cover the basics. The paid tiers add convenience, and we only recommend one when your site will use what it adds.

    Yoast SEO

    Free plugin$0

Yoast SEO Premium$118.80 per year, one site, before tax

Premium adds a redirect manager and internal linking suggestions. Each extra site needs its own subscription.

    Rank Math

    Free plugin$0

Rank Math Pro and upBilled yearly, priced by site count

The free version already includes redirects and schema. Paid plans add more schema types and rank tracking; we check the current price the week you decide.

    Google Search Console

    Indexing, queries, sitemaps$0

The one tool every site should have. We verify it on your domain, so you own the account and the history.

Our SEO work comes as one agreed figure. The audit findings we will fix, the templates we will change and the redirect list go into a BRD that you sign before any setting is touched, and the price in it is fixed. Ongoing monitoring, if you want it, is scoped in that same document. The first call costs nothing.

    07WordPress SEO questions

WordPress SEO questions US site owners ask us

Plugins, redesigns, rewritten snippets and how long any of it takes. If you have Search Console access, share it before the call and we’ll arrive with notes on your own data.

What do WordPress SEO services include?

With us they cover a technical audit, title and meta description rules for every post type, schema markup, XML sitemaps, redirects, Core Web Vitals work on the templates that rank, and Search Console setup. We also connect your forms and chat to Zoho CRM so you can see which pages bring in leads.

Yoast vs Rank Math: which SEO plugin should we use?

Either one does the job on most sites. Rank Math’s free version includes redirects and more schema options; Yoast is the more common choice and Yoast SEO Premium costs $118.80 a year per site before tax. If your site already runs one of them well, we keep it, because switching plugins carries its own risk.

    Is WordPress good for SEO?

Yes. WordPress gives you clean permalinks, a built-in XML sitemap and full control over titles, headings and markup. Problems usually come from the theme, page builders that load heavy scripts, or plugin settings, which is why we look at the templates as well as the plugin.

Will redesigning our WordPress site hurt our rankings?

It can if URLs change without redirects or content disappears. Before launch we list every indexed URL, map each one to its new address with a 301 redirect, carry over titles and descriptions, and keep watching Search Console for several weeks after the switch.

Why does Google show a different title or description than the one we wrote?

Google rewrites titles and descriptions when it thinks another line matches the search better, for example when a title is too long, stuffed with keywords or repeated across pages. Clear, specific, unique text per page makes rewrites less likely, though nobody can prevent them entirely.

How long until WordPress SEO fixes show results?

It depends on how often search engines crawl your site and how serious the problems were. Fixes like removing a staging site from search or restoring redirects can show up as pages are recrawled, while competitive rankings take longer. We give you the Search Console reports to watch rather than a promise.

    Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. No one controls where Google ranks a page, and guarantees are a warning sign. We commit to the fixes listed in your signed BRD, done to a fixed price and a schedule, and we show you the data that tracks whether they are working.

Can you add schema markup to WordPress without a plugin?

Yes. We can output JSON-LD from the theme for your business, breadcrumbs, articles or products, or extend what Yoast or Rank Math already generates. Either way the markup must match what is visible on the page, and we test it before release.

How do you build SEO pages for multiple cities on WordPress?

We create a location post type with its own fields for address, service area, photos and reviews you are allowed to show, then a template with local business schema and links from your service pages. Each city page needs its own real content; duplicated pages with the city name swapped rarely last.

How is your WordPress SEO work priced?

The first call costs nothing. After it, the fixes, template changes and redirect list are written into a BRD with one fixed price and a delivery schedule, and you sign it before we begin. Large or migrating sites may need a short paid crawl first, quoted up front.

08How a WordPress SEO project starts

We read your Search Console before we quote a thing

Four steps take you from “our traffic dropped” to a signed list of fixes. A small brochure site can often be scoped from the first call and read-only access; a large site, or one mid-migration, may need a short paid crawl and review first, priced before it starts.

SEO work happens in your dashboard and Search Console over screen share, for sites anywhere in the US, Canada or Latin America. Teams in Southern California can also have us in the room for the handover.
