01The short answer

What is Zoho support?

Zoho support is an ongoing arrangement in which a Zoho partner looks after your Zoho apps once they are live. Your team sends requests, and we fix, change, test and record each one, then meet with you on a regular rhythm to plan what comes next.

What it looks after

The configuration you depend on: fields, layouts, rules, functions, integrations, users and reports.

Where it stops

A brand-new app rollout or a move off another system is bigger than a support request. That becomes a per-project job with its own fixed price in a signed BRD, and the support plan carries on beside it.

Who you deal with

The same small group each time, picked for your products. The role mix is settled when you sign.

02Sound familiar?

Who needs a Zoho support plan?

Usually a business that already lives in Zoho and has nobody whose whole job is keeping it healthy. These four situations bring most support conversations to us.

  • The admin left

The person who built your Zoho moved on

Rules still fire, but nobody remembers why. Every change feels risky, so requests pile up and people drift back to spreadsheets.

  • After go-live

Launch went fine, and the wish list keeps growing

Once people use a system, they find the field that is missing and the report that should exist. Those small asks need someone who can say yes safely.

  • Several apps

CRM, Books and Desk all pass data to each other

Each join between apps is a place where a record can go missing. Somebody has to watch those joins and notice when one goes quiet.

  • Two time zones

Your people work in the US and in Europe

Our working hours cover US Pacific and CET, so a request from a Los Angeles sales team and one from a European office both land during someone’s workday.

03Inside a plan

What does a Zoho support plan include?

Six kinds of work, in plain words. Your proposal lists which of them apply to your products and how many hours a month sit behind them.

  • Fixes

    Broken rules and stalled syncs

A workflow that stopped firing, a function throwing an error, an integration that quietly skipped records. We find the cause, repair it and check the records it missed.

  • Changes

    Small changes, made carefully

New fields, picklist values, layouts, email templates and alerts. Each one is tried on test records before your team sees it.

  • Users

    Starters, leavers and permissions

New logins with the right profile, access removed on someone’s last day, and sharing rules adjusted when a team reorganizes.

  • Reports

Reports and dashboards you can trust

Filters corrected, duplicate counts removed and new views built when a manager asks a fresh question of the data.

  • Zoho updates

A read of what Zoho changed

Zoho ships product updates all year. We flag the ones that touch your setup and suggest the few worth switching on.

  • Know-how

Refreshers and a running change log

Short walkthroughs for new staff, and a written record of each change, why it was made and who approved it.

04Four ways to work with us

Monthly retainer or on-demand hours?

A retainer suits a steady flow of requests; on-demand hours suit an account that stays quiet most months. Bigger jobs run as a per-project engagement, and a dedicated team fits when Zoho work fills whole weeks.

  • Monthly retainerA set block of support each month
  • On-demand hoursHelp when something comes up
  • Per-projectOne defined build, fixed price
  • Dedicated teamPeople working on your Zoho full time
  1. A steady list of small requests

Monthly retainerRequests go into a queue that already has time set aside for it, so nobody waits for a new quote.

On-demand hoursEach batch of requests is scoped and approved on its own.

  2. One fix every few months

Monthly retainerYou would be paying for time you rarely use.

On-demand hoursYou pay for the hours that the fix actually needs.

  3. Knowing your setup without a recap

Monthly retainerThe same people work in your account every month and keep its notes current.

On-demand hoursWe read your change log first, which adds a little time to each visit.

  4. Planned improvements, month after month

Monthly retainerLeftover time goes to the next item on your improvement list.

On-demand hoursImprovements wait until someone books time for them.

  5. Getting started

Monthly retainerTeam working within 2–3 working days of the signed contract.

On-demand hoursSame start: 2–3 working days after signing.

  6. Changing your mind later

Monthly retainerMonth-to-month or a longer term; scaling is written into the contract.

On-demand hoursMoving to a retainer later is a contract change, nothing more.

Planning a new app or a switch from another tool? That runs as a project on our 12-step delivery track or through a Zoho migration route, and your support plan picks it up after go-live.

05From first call to first fix

How does Zoho support start, and how does a request run?

A call, a proposal by email, a signed contract, then a team working in your account within 2–3 working days. After that, requests flow in and regular check-ins keep the plan on track; scroll the sample thread to follow one account.

  1. Step 1Discovery call

    Tell us what keeps breaking

A first call with our senior team, free of charge. We ask which Zoho apps you run, what is open right now, how the apps hand data to each other and who will send requests.

  2. Step 2Proposal by email

Hours, roles and response targets in writing

You get a proposal by email that names the products covered, the monthly hours, the roles on your account and the response targets. One Zoho product starts from $300 a month; more products or scope are quoted in the same email.

  3. Step 3Contract

Sign for a month, or longer

Terms run month-to-month or longer, whichever you choose. The contract also sets out how the plan scales up or down and how cancellation works.

  4. Step 4Team working

Working in your account within 2–3 working days

We take admin access, read through your rules, functions and integrations, and agree with you where requests go. From here the team is working on your account.

  5. Step 5A request

Find the cause, try the fix on test records

Your admin sends a request. We trace it to the cause, which is often a renamed field or a changed rule, and try the fix on test records before it touches live data.

  6. Step 6Done

    Switched on and written down

The fix goes live, the person who asked hears it is done, and the change log gets a line: what changed, why, and who approved it.

  7. Step 7Regular check-in

Look back, then plan the next round

At regular check-ins we go through closed requests, the Zoho updates that affect you and the improvements worth doing next, so the plan keeps up with your business.

Sample thread, written as roles only. Hours and response targets for a real account are the ones in your proposal.

    10Support questions

Zoho support questions from US business owners and admins

Price, response targets, terms and what happens to a setup someone else built. If you have a list of open issues, bring it to the call.

What does a Zoho support plan include?

Fixes for rules, functions and integrations that break, small changes such as fields, layouts and templates, user and permission changes, report and dashboard upkeep, a review of Zoho updates that affect your setup, short refreshers for new staff and a written change log. Your proposal lists which of these apply to your products.

How much does Zoho support cost?

Plans start from $300 a month for one Zoho product. More products or a wider scope get a quoted plan, sent in writing before you sign. Zoho licences are billed separately by Zoho at its official prices.

What are your Zoho support response times?

Response targets are agreed in writing for each account and listed in the proposal we email you, together with the monthly hours and the roles on your account. They depend on which products you run and how much they carry, so we do not publish a single number.

Is there a minimum contract for Zoho support?

No long commitment is required. Plans run month-to-month or for a longer term, whichever suits you. How the plan scales up or down, and how cancellation works, is set out in your contract before work begins.

How quickly can a Zoho support team start?

Our team is working in your account within 2 to 3 working days of the signed contract. In that time we take access, review your rules, functions and integrations, and agree where requests should go.

Can you support a Zoho setup that another partner built?

Yes, and it is common. The first days go to reading what is there: workflow rules, functions, integrations and permissions. Anything risky or undocumented gets noted and raised with you before we change it.

How is a partner support plan different from Zoho’s own support?

Zoho’s own support helps with how its products work and with problems inside the product itself. A partner plan looks after your configuration: your fields, rules, functions, integrations, users and reports. Many businesses use both.

    11How support starts

Nothing is built during these steps. They exist so that you know what you are paying for, and who is doing the work, before the first request lands.

Support runs remotely for teams across the US, Canada and Latin America, with working hours that cover US Pacific and CET.
