Lead form block → Zoho CRM
A custom block posts to Zoho CRM from the server, adds the page title, UTM tags and service picked, and runs your assignment rules. Spam checks happen before the record exists.
Gutenberg · WordPress · Los Angeles
Your marketers press the plus button and find your sections waiting, already styled.
Gutenberg is the block editor that ships with WordPress: every heading, image, form and pricing table on a page is a block you can insert, move and reuse. Our team, led from Glendale, writes custom blocks and block patterns around your real page sections, locks the parts that should never drift, and wires lead forms to Zoho CRM so a new landing page is ready the same afternoon.

01Is Gutenberg right for you?
For most marketing and content sites, yes. It is part of WordPress itself, it renders light pages, and custom blocks keep a whole team on brand. A few situations still point another way, and we would rather say that before you commit to a rebuild.
02Gutenberg services
Think of it as a kit: the blocks, the patterns made from them, the rules about who can change what, and a short session teaching your editors to use it. Most projects pick up four of these six jobs.
Native blocks registered with block.json and written in React, or ACF blocks when your content team already works in custom fields. Each one has controls named in your words.
Your hero, proof row, pricing and signup sections saved as patterns. Synced patterns update every page at once; unsynced ones are starting points editors can change.
theme.json presets for colors, fonts and spacing, content-only locking, and a short list of allowed blocks per post type, so the brand survives busy weeks.
Old posts converted to blocks, shortcodes swapped for real blocks, and page-builder layouts rebuilt as patterns, checked page by page against the live site.
Three block libraries loading on every page is common. We keep the blocks you use, rebuild the few you need, and drop the plugins that slow the site.
A recorded walkthrough on your own staging site: inserting patterns, editing locked sections, scheduling posts, and what to do when a block shows a recovery warning.
03One landing page, block by block
A sample: a Southern California HVAC company wants a tune-up promotion live before the first heat wave. The marketing lead builds it herself from the kit we left behind. Scroll and watch the page stack up.
Core block · Cover
She picks the “Seasonal cover” pattern, swaps the photo for a rooftop unit in Riverside and types the headline. Fonts, colors and the button style come from theme.json, so there’s nothing to choose.
Custom block · Service cards
Our Service cards block offers a dropdown of the company’s twelve services. Picking one fills in the icon, the short description and the link, so card copy stays consistent across forty pages.
Custom block · Pricing table
The tune-up price lives in one custom field, connected through the Block Bindings API. When it changes to $149 in May, every page that shows it changes too. Sample price.
Synced pattern · Service area
The list of cities they cover is a synced pattern. Adding Temecula on one page adds it to every page using the strip, and pattern overrides still let her change the heading here.
Custom block · Lead form
The Lead form block has no settings she can break. It posts to Zoho CRM with the page name and campaign tags in hidden fields, and the lead is assigned to the dispatcher before she has closed the tab.
Core block · Details
Four questions about filters, timing and refrigerant go into Details blocks, which open and close without loading any extra JavaScript. Then she presses Publish.
Sample business, cities, price and workflow, to show how the pieces fit.
04Try it · sample patterns
Start from a page type, then add or remove patterns from the library. The preview shows the page, the markup tab shows what WordPress stores, and the notes flag what we would change before it goes live.

Sample only. On a real project each pattern is designed with you, gets real content limits, and is tested on phones before your editors ever see it in the inserter.
05Gutenberg + Zoho
Any Zoho app that collects something from a visitor. We wrap each one in a block or a pattern, so an editor drops it on a page like any other section, and the settings that matter (form ID, lead source, owner) stay out of reach.
A custom block posts to Zoho CRM from the server, adds the page title, UTM tags and service picked, and runs your assignment rules. Spam checks happen before the record exists.
Longer forms with conditional logic, file uploads or payments are better built in Zoho Forms. We save the embed as a pattern with the right height and styling, so it doesn’t look pasted in.
A block that shows a Zoho Bookings service or staff calendar inline, chosen from a dropdown, for consultation and estimate pages.
The Zoho SalesIQ widget loaded on chosen templates, such as pricing and service pages, instead of every blog post, which keeps the rest of the site lighter.
06Gutenberg pricing
The editor itself costs nothing. Gutenberg is part of WordPress core, which is open source under the GPL, and there is no seat, page or editor limit. What you do pay for sits around it.

Our work
Each custom block, pattern and integration is listed by name in a BRD, priced as one fixed sum, and signed before we open your staging site. Only the first call is free; a large legacy cleanup may need a short paid review, quoted beforehand.
07Gutenberg questions
Classic Editor, Elementor, custom blocks, speed and Zoho forms. Send a link to the page that gives your editors the most trouble and we’ll look at it together on the call.
Gutenberg is the block editor built into WordPress since version 5.0. Each part of a page, such as a paragraph, image, button group or form, is a block you insert, move and style. The name also covers the wider project behind the Site Editor, block themes and patterns.
Yes. Gutenberg ships with WordPress core, which is open source under the GPL, so there is no licence, seat or page limit. Costs come from hosting, any premium block theme or plugin you choose, and the custom blocks and patterns someone builds for your site.
Gutenberg usually wins on page weight and long-term cost, because it is part of WordPress and needs no builder licence. Elementor suits teams that design visually every day and already know it. We often recommend Gutenberg for content-heavy sites and keep Elementor where a design team depends on it.
You can, through the Classic Editor plugin, and old posts keep working. New WordPress features such as patterns, the Site Editor and block themes are built for blocks, though, so we usually convert templates and frequently edited pages first and leave old blog posts alone until they need an update.
A custom block is new code: its own controls, markup and styles, registered with a block.json file. A pattern is a saved arrangement of existing blocks, like a hero with a heading, text and two buttons. Most sites need a handful of custom blocks and a larger set of patterns.
Synced patterns, called reusable blocks before WordPress 6.3, are sections edited in one place that update everywhere they appear, such as a service-area strip or a signup band. Since WordPress 6.6, pattern overrides let editors change chosen text inside a synced pattern on one page without breaking the link.
Not when they are built carefully. We load each block’s CSS and script only on pages that use it, keep front-end JavaScript to a minimum, and test real templates for Core Web Vitals before launch. Heavy block libraries that load everything on every page are a more common cause of slowness.
Yes. We build a form block that posts to Zoho CRM from the server, with hidden fields for the page, campaign tags and lead source, or embed a Zoho Forms form through a pattern when you need conditional logic or uploads. Either way, Zoho CRM assignment rules decide who follows up.
If you are rebuilding anyway, often yes: headers, footers and templates become editable blocks styled from theme.json. If your classic theme works and the team is happy, a hybrid works well too, with blocks in the content area and the theme files left as they are.
The first conversation costs nothing. After that, we name every block, pattern, lock rule and Zoho connection in a BRD and price the whole build as one fixed figure with a delivery schedule. If years of shortcode content need untangling first, that review is paid and its price is agreed before it starts.
08How a Gutenberg project starts
Four steps turn a pile of page screenshots into a signed list of blocks and patterns. A kit of five or six blocks is usually sized during that first conversation. Years of shortcodes call for a paid content review, with its price agreed up front.
We plan the kit with you on video calls from any US state, Canada or Latin America, and can run the editor training in your office if it’s near Los Angeles.
Once it’s signed, delivery follows our dated build schedule. See how we work →
