01Why Zoho Assist
Zoho Assist does two jobs: helping someone at their computer, and reaching computers nobody is sitting at. These six details come up first with IT managers.
Invite people by email, text or a join link. Nothing is prepared ahead of time, and technicians can start from a browser on any device.
Unattended Access deploys the agent in bulk, groups machines by site or client, and wakes sleeping PCs over the network.
The Zoho Desk link is on every plan, Free included. Remote Support plans also connect to Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshdesk and Jira.
Windows, Mac and Linux on every plan. Phones, tablets, Chromebooks and IoT devices from Remote Support Professional or Unattended Access Professional.
TLS 1.2 with AES-256 encryption, two-factor sign-in, idle timeout and an action log come with every edition.
Remote Support Standard is $10 per technician a month billed yearly, or $12 monthly. The free plan covers one technician and five unattended computers.
02One support call, start to finish
Follow one ticket from “my screen froze” to closed. Scroll and the next messages arrive, with yellow notes for what Zoho did in the background.
Step 1Ticket arrives
With Zoho AssistThe request becomes a Zoho Desk ticket with an owner, and the session button sits right on it.
Step 2Invite sent
With Zoho AssistThe technician sends an email, text or join link from the ticket. The customer taps it and the session opens.
Step 3Customer allows control
With Zoho AssistThe customer approves control for this session only, and can watch every click on their own screen.
Step 4The fix
With Zoho AssistFile transfer, chat, voice and screen capture are in the session toolbar from the Standard plan up.
Step 5Reboot and check
With Zoho AssistReboot and reconnect brings the technician back once the machine is up, so the check happens right away.
Step 6Ticket closed
With Zoho AssistThe session stays tied to the ticket, and session notes and reports are there when the problem comes back.
Sample ticket and messages. Session notes come with Remote Support Professional and up; your plan decides which tools show in the toolbar.

Remote Support is priced per technician for live sessions; Unattended Access covers computers nobody is sitting at. Pick the sessions you run to see the plan and its official US list price.
04Remote Support or Unattended Access
Remote Support is for people; Unattended Access is for machines. Most MSPs and IT teams end up with both.
Zoho reshuffles edition features now and then, so we recheck this list before scoping your Zoho Assist setup.
05Zoho Assist pricing in the US
Remote Support is $10 to $24 per technician a month, billed yearly. Unattended Access is $10 or $15 a month per 25 computers, with unlimited technicians. There’s also a free plan.
| Zoho Assist plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Priced per | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 technician, 5 unattended computers | A one-person shop helping a few machines |
| Remote Support Standard | $10 | $12 | Technician · 2 concurrent sessions | Help desks that need file transfer, voice and ticket links |
| Remote Support Professional | $15 | $18 | Technician · 4 concurrent sessions | Teams supporting phones too, with screen sharing and branding |
| Remote Support Enterprise | $24 | $28 | Technician · 6 concurrent sessions | Departments that record sessions and run a service queue |

| Unattended Access Professional | $15 | $18 | 25 unattended computers | MSPs that need recording, mobile devices and branding |
Zoho Assist list prices in USD per month, before tax. For 10+ technicians or 200+ devices, Zoho also quotes concurrent pricing, and its Corporate plan bundles 50 technicians with 1,000 managed devices. Our Zoho Assist rollout is a separate fixed price, written into a signed BRD before the first agent is deployed.
06Zoho Assist vs TeamViewer
TeamViewer is the tool most US buyers hold Zoho Assist up against. Both work well; the gaps are in billing and integrations. Step through five jobs; the leading card grows.
Sold as annual subscriptions that renew every 12 months.
Every paid plan comes monthly or yearly, so a seasonal team can scale down.
Its enterprise line, Tensor, is a custom licence priced by quote.
US list prices are public for every plan, from $10 per technician a month.
Works through its own list of integrations; check that your help desk is on it.
The Zoho Desk link is on every plan, so sessions start from the ticket.
Plenty of people have used it before, which can make the first call easier.
Customers rarely know the brand, but they only tap a link to join.
Only the expert giving support needs a licence.
Licences are per technician; the person getting help joins free.
Where TeamViewer can make sense: if your contracts already name it, your team is trained on it and it plugs into your current help desk, switching for a lower price alone may not be worth the retraining. We’ll say that on the first call.
07Zoho Assist integrations
Sessions work best when they start where your team already works. The Zoho Assist integrations we wire up most start with Zoho Desk and Zoho SalesIQ live chat. Tap a tile to see where the session starts.
08What we set up
Signing up takes minutes. The real work is deploying agents safely, deciding who reaches which machines and wiring sessions into tickets.

09How a Zoho Assist project starts
Remote access is a security decision, so it goes on paper first. A small help desk setup is often scoped on the first call; a multi-site fleet rollout may need a paid scoping phase, quoted up front.
Zoho Assist projects run online across the US, Canada and Latin America. For a hands-on agent rollout in Southern California, we can come on-site.

Zoho Assist is Zoho’s cloud remote support and remote access software. Technicians use it to take control of a customer’s or employee’s screen with their permission, and to reach unattended computers and servers they manage. It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux, and higher plans add phones, tablets, Chromebooks and IoT devices.
Billed yearly in USD, Remote Support is $10 (Standard), $15 (Professional) or $24 (Enterprise) per technician a month. Unattended Access is $10 (Standard) or $15 (Professional) a month for 25 unattended computers. Monthly billing costs $2 to $4 more, and there is a free plan. Rolling Zoho Assist out with us is quoted on its own, as a fixed price in a signed BRD.
Remote Support is for helping a person who is at their device, and it is priced per technician. Unattended Access is for computers you manage with nobody present, priced per 25 computers with unlimited technicians. Help desks usually start with Remote Support, while IT teams and MSPs often buy both.
Yes. The free plan covers one remote support technician, five unattended computers and one concurrent session, with instant chat and the Zoho Desk link. Zoho does not cap session length on Windows, Mac or Linux computers in the free plan. File transfer starts on the paid plans.
Nothing needs to be installed in advance. The technician sends an invite by email, text message or a join link, and the customer approves the session. Unattended computers are different: they get the Zoho Assist agent once, often deployed in bulk.
Both handle remote support well. Zoho Assist offers monthly or yearly billing with public US list prices and links to Zoho Desk on every plan. TeamViewer sells annual subscriptions and is a name many end users already know. If your team is trained on TeamViewer and it fits your help desk, staying can be the sensible choice.
Yes. The Zoho Desk integration is on every Zoho Assist plan, including Free, so technicians start sessions from tickets. Remote Support plans also link with Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshdesk and Jira, and Zoho SalesIQ chats can move into a session.
Every plan, Free included, uses TLS 1.2 transport security with AES-256-bit encryption, two-factor authentication, idle-session timeout, IP-based restriction and an action log. Unattended Access adds session confirmation, so a person at the machine can be asked before you connect.
It depends on how many computers get the unattended agent, how many sites and client groups you have, and which help desk links you need. The signed BRD dates every rollout wave and the technician training, so you know the plan before we start.
Yes. We train technicians on live sessions, write a short playbook for permissions and approvals, and stay on for new agent groups, integrations and edition changes, online or on-site in Southern California.
