Zoho Cliq is Zoho’s team chat and calling app. It gives you one-to-one and group chats, channels with threads, audio and video calls, meetings, screen sharing and a developer platform for bots, slash commands, message actions and widgets. It runs on desktop, web and mobile.

Zoho Cliq has a free plan. Standard is a flat $16.20 a month billed yearly ($18 monthly) for up to 25 users. Professional costs $1.80 per user per month billed yearly ($2 monthly) and Enterprise costs $3.60 ($4 monthly), both with a 10-user minimum. All in USD before tax. Setting up Cliq with us (channels, permissions, bots, any Slack move) is its own fixed price, written into a signed BRD.

Yes. Cliq bots, slash commands, message actions, widgets, functions and schedulers are written in Deluge, Zoho’s scripting language, and run on Zoho’s platform. Commands can also call your own server through a webhook. Even the free plan allows 100 slash commands and 100 bots per organization, and Professional allows 1,000 commands and 250 bots.

For teams already on Zoho, Cliq is usually the better fit. It connects to Zoho CRM, Desk and Projects without extra connectors and costs far less: Cliq Professional is $1.80 per user per month billed yearly, Slack Pro is $7.25 and Slack Business+ is $15. Slack still suits teams that depend on many Slack marketplace apps or share lots of Slack Connect channels with clients.

Teams is usually bought as part of Microsoft 365, so you also get Outlook and Office apps; Teams Essentials alone is $4 per user per month billed yearly. Cliq is chat and calls only, at $1.80 per user on Professional, and it speaks Zoho natively. If your company lives in Outlook, Teams may already be paid for. If it lives in Zoho, Cliq fits better.

Yes. Every plan includes one-to-one audio and video calls, screen sharing and meetings for up to 100 participants. The free plan limits meetings to 60 minutes; paid plans allow up to 24 hours. Professional and Enterprise support up to 1,000 active participants and 10,000 viewers.

Yes. Zia, Zoho’s AI / SI assistant, can summarize a chat on demand in the Professional and Enterprise plans. We can also connect AI agents to Cliq through Zoho MCP, with human approval before an agent changes any data.
