Zoho One vs Salesforce for US companies
One license for the whole building, or a separate key for every room.
Salesforce sells each department its own cloud: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud Next, Field Service, each priced and contracted on its own terms. Zoho One puts 45+ apps for sales, service, marketing, finance, HR and operations under a single license. We are a Zoho partner in Glendale, so we lean one way. Below you will also find where Salesforce still earns its price.

01The short version
Is Zoho One a real Salesforce alternative for the whole company?
For most US companies under a few hundred people, yes. Zoho One covers every department on one license and one customer record. Salesforce goes deeper in sales, service and marketing, but each of those is a separate cloud, and accounting and HR sit outside its lineup.
- 1 planZoho One Standard: all 45+ apps, priced per employee or per user
- A cloud per teamSalesforce licenses Sales, Service, Marketing and Field Service on their own
- 2 gapsNo general ledger or HR system of its own on the Salesforce side
02A walk through the office
What does each department get on Zoho One and on Salesforce?
Walk the floor room by room. Salesforce wins two rooms outright on depth, Zoho One wins the rooms Salesforce doesn’t furnish, and the rest come down to budget and admin time.

Zoho One vs Salesforce pricing, room by room
Zoho One Standard is $37 per employee a month when every employee is licensed, or $90 per user on flexible licensing, billed yearly. On Salesforce, sales and service seats run $25 to $550 per user a month per cloud, and marketing and field service carry their own prices.

USD, before tax. In fairness to Salesforce: one Starter or Pro Suite seat bundles core sales, service and email marketing, which suits a small team that needs only those three. We reprice both sides against your real headcount before you sign either contract, because Salesforce bundles shift and Zoho runs US offers on flexible licensing from time to time.
04Department picker
How many products would you be buying?
Switch on the departments that need software and set how many people work in each. You get the license shape on both sides: how many separate products and contracts, and a yearly figure wherever a list price is published.

Sample math at yearly US list prices, before tax and discounts. On Pro Suite, sales, service and marketing users share one suite seat type. On Core or Advanced, each cloud is its own product and marketing moves to Marketing Cloud Next Growth at its per-org price. Field Service is shown at the Technician price, and Salesforce quotes it for the higher editions only. Zoho One uses whichever costs less: all-employee for everyone, or flexible licenses for the people you switched on.
05When to choose which
Should you choose Salesforce or Zoho One?
Choose Salesforce when sales and service are your whole world and you have certified admins to run it. Choose Zoho One when every department needs software and one person, or one partner, will look after all of it. Rate the situations below to see which way your own team leans.
- Certified Salesforce admins already on staff
- Industry apps found only on AppExchange
- Large phone contact center with complex routing
- Only sales needs new software this year
- One operations lead as admin for most apps
- Per-head budget covering every department
- Invoices, tickets and hiring on the same records as deals
If only the sales team is buying this year, the real choice is between the two CRMs rather than the suites. We can walk through both against your renewal date on a first call.
06Moving off Salesforce, or not all the way
Can you move to Zoho One without a big-bang cutover?
Yes. Companies take one of three routes, and the right one usually depends on your Salesforce renewal date. Three safety checks travel with every route.
- Route A
All rooms in one move
Sales and service data leave Salesforce on the renewal date, while finance and HR come off their separate vendors in the same project.
- Route B
One room at a time
Start with the departments that have no Salesforce product today, then bring sales and service across when that contract ends.
- Route C
Keep the sales room
Salesforce stays for sellers. Zoho One runs finance, HR and operations, and we connect the two by API or Zoho Flow so deals turn into invoices.
- Any route
Three checks that keep it safe
A stopper date agreed up front, a sample import you sign off, and Salesforce set to read-only on cutover day.
07Client proof
Has a US company really left Salesforce for Zoho with us?
Yes. LendingUSA, a US consumer financing company, made the move from Salesforce to Zoho with our team. Today Zoho CRM sits at the center, with Forms, SalesIQ, Bookings, Flow, Creator and Desk connected around it.
Named with LendingUSA’s permission. We describe the shape of the build only, since the details of a lender’s systems stay private, as yours would.
- 1 of 7
Zoho CRM
The hub of this build. Each of the six apps that follow plugs into it.
- 2 of 7
Forms
Usually filed with the marketing apps in Zoho One, here wired around the CRM.
- 3 of 7

Creator
For the custom app a lender needs that no vendor sells off the shelf.
- 7 of 7

Tickets, SLAs and a help center, with the customer record one click away.
08Zoho One vs Salesforce questions
Zoho One or Salesforce: questions from US buyers
Most of these land on our desk a few months before a Salesforce renewal. Send us your current clouds and seat counts and we’ll answer the rest against your own contract.
Is Zoho One cheaper than Salesforce?
For a whole company, almost always. Zoho One Standard lists at $37 per employee a month on yearly billing and covers sales, service, marketing, finance, HR and operations. On Salesforce, a single Sales Cloud Core seat lists at $195 a month, and marketing, field service, accounting and HR are bought separately.
How much does Salesforce cost for a whole company?
There is no single price, because each cloud is licensed on its own. Sales Cloud and Service Cloud each run from $25 to $550 per user a month, Marketing Cloud Next starts at $1,500 per org a month, and Field Service licenses list from $175 per user a month. Accounting and HR come from partner vendors at their own prices.
How much does Zoho One cost in the US?
Zoho One Essentials is $9 per user a month, Standard is $37 per employee a month when every employee is licensed, and Standard on flexible licensing is $90 per user a month, all on yearly billing. Monthly billing is $11, $45 and $105.
Does Salesforce include accounting or HR software?
Not in its own lineup. Salesforce companies usually run accounting and HR in separate systems, or in AppExchange apps from partner vendors, and connect them to Salesforce. Zoho One includes Zoho Books, Expense, People and Recruit on the same license.
Can Zoho One replace both Sales Cloud and Service Cloud?
For most mid-size teams, yes. Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk share one customer record inside Zoho One, so a rep and a support agent see the same history. Very large contact centers and heavily customized Salesforce orgs are the cases where we tell clients to stay.
Where is Salesforce stronger than Zoho One?
In depth at the top end. Salesforce has the largest app marketplace, more data capacity, very large contact center tooling and a deep pool of certified admins and developers. If you already run several clouds with an in-house admin team, switching may not pay off.
Can we keep Salesforce for sales and run Zoho One for everything else?
Yes, and some clients do exactly that while a Salesforce contract runs out. Zoho One takes finance, HR and operations, and we connect it to Salesforce by API or Zoho Flow so closed deals create invoices and new hires get accounts. We write down in the BRD which system owns each record.
How long does a move from Salesforce to Zoho One take?
It depends on how many clouds, records and automations you have and how many departments move at once. We agree the scope in a BRD with a delivery schedule that gives each department its own date, and most clients time the sales cutover for their Salesforce renewal.
Which has better AI, Zoho One or Salesforce?
Salesforce Agentforce is broader for building AI (now also called SI, super intelligence) agents, and its full suite sits in the top edition with yearly Flex Credits. Zoho’s Zia is included across the Zoho One apps at the plan price, so it is simpler to budget. For most teams the bigger question is whether the AI / SI can see finance and support data, and on Zoho One it can.
What is SI?
SI stands for super intelligence. In September 2026 a US executive order asked federal agencies to use “super intelligence” or “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” in official communications. Most businesses still say AI, so we use both terms.
