  1. Charged on gross receipts, at a rate set by activity. We tag income accounts by classification so the excise return comes from one report.

  2. Workers’ comp comes from the state fund and is reported by hours. We log hours by risk class and store both account numbers.

  3. Both come out of wages; an approved WA Cares exemption stops that deduction. We flag exemptions per employee and accrue sick leave.

  4. It reaches health data far beyond clinics, from fitness to supplements. We add separate consent fields, limit who sees them and log changes.

  5. One state licence carries many city endorsements, and builders register with L&I. Each renewal date gets an early reminder.

  6. Retail sales tax follows the delivery address, and some cities add their own B&O. We map rates by location code and split revenue by city.

We are not a health company. Does the My Health My Data Act matter to us?

Possibly: it covers health data held by fitness apps and supplement shops too. Counsel decides; we build consent fields, access limits and an audit trail.

Can one Zoho account cover staff in Washington and Oregon?

Yes. One Zoho organization holds payroll per state and tax per location, so a Vancouver office with Portland staff stays in one system.

How much does Zoho work in Washington cost?

Zoho charges list price per user or for Zoho One, and AWS bills usage. Our own fee is agreed once, in a signed BRD. Just the discovery call is free; projects spanning several companies may begin with paid scoping.
