Zoho in Denver →01The short version
Elite Tech Global. We hold Zoho Advanced Partner status; the LA crew behind this page, led from Glendale, meets Colorado firms on Mountain Time. We tune Recruit, People and Payroll for crews that swell each winter and summer, show Zoho Books which home-rule cities collect their own tax, and settle scope and price in a BRD before any build work.
02Services we deliver in Colorado
Mostly HR and payroll builds, Creator apps and support once a busy season starts. Name your goal below and the matching work lights up.
What is the job?
Each goal lights the Colorado services it needs.
Recruit, People and Payroll as one hiring path; Books split by city tax.
Employee files from BambooHR, pay history from Gusto, ledgers from QuickBooks, moved in a quiet month.
Staff housing rosters, rental gear check-out, dispensary licence calendars.
Google Workspace, card payments, a booking engine or the lodge till, so each guest is typed once.
Sorting autumn applications by role, or answering guest questions every powder morning.
Lab data from a Boulder research spinout, or a guest portal that spikes on opening weekend; customer records stay in Zoho.
Web shops for Front Range gear makers, feeding orders into Zoho Inventory.
Opening day brings new users and questions at once; we field them while managers look after guests.

04Seasonal staffing planner
Pick the pattern closest to your year; the planner marks the steps in build order and can drop the plan into the contact form.

Choose a pattern to light up your steps.
Late summer or early spring
Recruit invites last season's best hires back first, then posts the gaps by role and start week.
Two weeks before start
People gathers tax forms, certificates and signed handbooks online before day one.
Before arrival
A Creator app assigns beds, keys, uniforms and passes, and flags what is still out in spring.
Every week of the season
Shifts lays out rotas per lift, shop, kitchen or river put-in; staff check them by phone.
Each pay run
Payroll withholds the flat state rate, splits FAMLI premiums and plans a final pay run for each end date.
After closing day
Books and Analytics set wages and housing against the season's takings for next year's budget.
Sample plan. Pay timing, final pay and leave rules are set with your payroll adviser before go-live.
05Industries we serve in Colorado
Four lead the calls we get from this state. Under each one: our industry page, plus a specialist to hire.
Resorts, lodges, outfitters and tour operators from Summit County to Durango: bookings, group quotes, two crews a year.
Engineering, accounting and consulting firms downtown and in the Tech Center, billing time through Zoho Projects and Books.
Aerospace machine shops, craft breweries and food makers: batches, purchase orders, supplier certificates.
Front Range rooftop installers and plains wind and solar contractors: leads, permits, crew pay.
Also: clinics and home care, and builders racing the first snow.
06Mountains down the middle
Most Colorado firms sit on the Front Range, the metros at the foot of the Rockies, yet sell and hire far beyond it.
Aerospace · outdoor brands · logistics
Satellite firms in the southern suburbs, gear brands and air freight through DIA.
Space · defense · tourism
Space Force bases, the Air Force Academy and their contractors, plus Pikes Peak visitors.
Research · natural foods · agriculture · energy
Federal labs, food brands and breweries; farther east, cattle, oil, gas and wind.
Ski resorts · hospitality · seasonal work
Resort towns along I-70 staff up twice a year; Grand Junction adds orchards, wineries and energy services.

Covered by video, no page yet: Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and Grand Junction get the same people, plan and pricing model as Denver.
08Decided on day one
Sales tax matters most, since dozens of home-rule cities set and collect their own; payroll and privacy follow.
Home-rule cities may define what is taxable and collect it themselves, so each delivery city is tagged state- or self-collected, with its own tax line and report.
Many retail orders delivered by vehicle carry a small state fee. It is not sales tax, so it gets its own item and account in Zoho Books.
Wages are taxed at a single flat rate. A few metro cities add a monthly occupational privilege tax, attached to the work locations it covers.
Employers open a state unemployment account, report new hires and pay FAMLI premiums for paid family and medical leave, shared with staff.
The Healthy Families and Workplaces Act lets staff at firms of any size earn paid sick time as they work. Zoho People accrues it per hour, seasonal crews included.
Coverage turns on how many Colorado consumers’ data you hold, not revenue. Contacts get dated opt-out and consent fields, and requests a tracked queue.
Read these as Zoho settings, not legal or tax advice. Whether a rule binds you is decided by your CPA or lawyer, then we configure it.
09Our case for Colorado
A Colorado rollout must land between seasons, please a bookkeeper juggling city returns, and stay supported through the rush.
Requirements are written and costed up front; later additions come to you as approved changes.
Whoever configures your payroll in September is still around in opening week.
Zoho Advanced Partner status, Creator registration, and Catalyst, AWS and Shopify partnerships.
Only an hour separates us, so workshops fit easily into your working day.
Gear store, guest portal and HR system from one team on one contract.
Manuals and recorded training for next season's managers, plus fixes when rules change.
Works well until one person falls ill in October.
A dated plan in the BRD and a team big enough to hold it.
Can staff it, though long approvals may slip past the season.
Quickest, provided their week is open.
Handled through expert hours or your retainer, in turn.
Seldom set up to take on a job this small.
Often strong in one app and lighter on the others.
Recruit, People, Payroll and Books planned as one flow, Colorado deductions and city returns included.
Capable, though modules may sit with different groups.
More than a single contractor can usually carry.
Zoho, AWS and integrations are our slice; if the program needs a bigger firm, we say so plainly.
Their home ground: global systems and steering committees.
Depends on whether another client has them booked that week.
Support, a virtual admin or our people inside your team, US Pacific and CET hours.
Support desks exist, usually under a separate agreement.
10Engagement models
Seasonal businesses usually build in the off-season on a fixed price, then keep a retainer for the busy months. Your proposal carries the numbers.
Suits a spring or autumn build, such as HR and payroll or a move off BambooHR.
Inside a fixed-price project →Suits live systems where each season brings new roles, rotas and reports.
Retainer and support options →Suits groups with several towns on Zoho and nonstop changes, staffed on Mountain Time.
Dedicated Zoho staff →Suits one-off jobs, like a new city tax line or a season-end report.
Book expert hours →11Common moves in Colorado
BambooHR, Gusto and QuickBooks top the list, since HR, pay and books are where seasonal businesses feel the strain. Spreadsheets and Salesforce follow.
12One hour apart
Our LA team works with you mostly on video. You are sixty minutes ahead year round, so your 8 am stand-up is our 7 am. Site trips are agreed when a workshop needs one.
Colorado clocks read one hour later than Glendale, summer and winter alike.
Thirty minutes with senior people, no charge. Bring peak and off-season headcounts.
Requirements, city tax list and payroll deductions in writing, priced once; for large groups, paid scoping may come first.
Each part shown live and approved before the next, ideally finished before the season turns.
Records moved, old tools read-only, short videos for seasonal managers.
13Licence math, Colorado style
Take a lodge and rental shop group: 75 staff at the winter peak, two managers hiring. Its HR, payroll, books and stock apps come to below $1,000 monthly at Zoho's list prices. Our fee is separate, fixed in the BRD.
Zoho Shifts has a plan of its own; our HR and Payroll page shows how the people apps fit together. That first call is free; multi-company groups may need paid scoping.
Sample statementPeak month · annual plans · USD list
Licences, per month$748
Or Zoho One: 75 staff on the $37 all-employee plan total $2,775 monthly; flexible pricing is $90 for each user. Better value when the year-round team uses many apps.
Illustration only; excludes taxes and add-ons. Zoho may revise list prices.
14Colorado owners ask
Services, seasonal hires, home-rule tax, leave and cost. Your bookkeeper’s favourite question is welcome too.
HR and payroll on Zoho Recruit, People and Payroll; Zoho Books for home-rule sales tax; Creator apps; migrations and integrations; AWS, Shopify, WordPress and AI agent builds; and after launch, support or dedicated staff.
Sometimes, for a single tweak. A rollout due before the season needs more hands: our 40+ salaried specialists, partner certifications, Mountain Time meetings, a written scope with one agreed price, and training afterwards.
Yes. The same in-house people handle AWS, online stores and AI agents, wiring all of it into Zoho so a gear brand's web orders, dealer orders and stock counts agree.
No. The whole team sits in Glendale, California, and meets Colorado clients on video in Mountain Time hours. Workshop or launch-day trips go into the project plan.
We list each city you sell into, note who collects, and give each self-collecting city its own tax and report. A CPA signs off that city list first.
Step one is confirming Zoho Payroll supports every state where your people work. FAMLI becomes a shared deduction and sick time accrues in Zoho People; if a gap remains, your current payroll provider posts into Zoho Books.
Every contact holds opt-outs and consent with a date stamp, and access or deletion requests queue with due dates. Whether the act reaches you is your attorney’s call.
Licences go on Zoho's own invoice at published prices. Our work carries one fixed fee, agreed in a signed BRD up front. The opening call costs nothing; bigger projects can need paid scoping.
