01Why Zoho Social
Zoho Social is priced by brand, with team members included, so a three-person team pays one plan price instead of three seats. It posts to 14 networks per brand from the $10 Standard plan, and on Premium it sends social leads straight into Zoho CRM. Here are the six reasons US marketing teams and agencies give us most often.
Premium is $40 a month billed yearly and includes three team members. Each extra person is $10. Agency plans include five.
Hootsuite: from $99 per userOn Premium, rules add people who comment or message you as leads in Zoho CRM. Your reps see their CRM status right in Zoho Social.
Standard covers Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn pages and profiles, X, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Snapchat. Premium adds WhatsApp Business and Telegram.
Later: 8 profiles per social setSmartQ on Premium suggests the best times from your own engagement. CustomQ lets you set fixed slots per day, and Pause holds every scheduled post if news breaks.
Premium adds content approvals, custom roles and a Collaborate space where the team discusses drafts by chat, audio or video call.
Hootsuite: approvals on Advanced, $399 per userThe Agency plan covers 10 client brands and five team members for $230 a month billed yearly, with your branding, free client logins and agency-branded reports.
Zia, Zoho’s AI (now also called SI, super intelligence), drafts captions and rephrases replies inside Zoho Social, with monthly AI credits on every plan. On Premium, social messages can also become tickets in Zoho Desk. And if your email newsletters run in Zoho Campaigns, we plan both on the same launch calendar.
02One campaign week
Here’s a sample week for a neighborhood bakery launching pumpkin bread pre-orders. Scroll and the calendar fills in day by day: drafts approved on Monday, an offer on Google Business Profile, one video on three networks, a catering lead from a LinkedIn comment, and a report waiting on Monday morning. Each day notes the Zoho Social feature we set up for it.
| Network | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | Sun |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Teaser | Pre-order link | Paused | Weekend hours | ||||
| Teaser | Reel | Story: sold out | Customer photo | ||||
| Office catering | Comment → lead | Week recap | |||||

Plan and approve. The week’s posts are drafted in one composer, with a different caption for each network. The owner approves the batch from her phone.
Set up in: Content approvals (Premium)Pre-orders open. An offer post goes to Google Business Profile with an Order button. Every link carries UTM tags, so the bakery sees which network sent the orders.
Set up in: Google Business Profile offers · UTM parametersOne video, three places. The same 30-second clip goes out as an Instagram Reel, a YouTube Short and a TikTok, each at the time SmartQ suggests.
Set up in: SmartQ (Premium)A comment turns into a lead. An office manager asks about catering for 40 under the LinkedIn post. A lead rule creates her in Zoho CRM and the catering rep gets a task.
Set up in: Zoho CRM integration · lead rulesSold out by noon. One click on Pause holds the rest of Friday’s posts, so nobody drives over for bread that’s gone. Resume puts them back on Saturday.
Set up in: Pause and resume (Professional and up)Replies from one inbox. Comments, DMs and a new Google review land in one inbox and get assigned to whoever is on shift.
Set up in: Inbox · assignment rules (Premium)The report sends itself. Reach, clicks and the week’s new CRM leads go out as a scheduled report, so it’s waiting in the owner’s inbox on Monday.
Set up in: Custom and scheduled reports (Premium)03Try it · sample post
Write once, then check every network before you schedule. Edit the sample caption, add a photo or a video, and switch networks. The preview, the character count and the checks change with each one, the way the Zoho Social composer warns you before a post fails. Then add it to the sample calendar.

04Zoho Social pricing in the US
Zoho Social is priced per brand. A brand is one set of channels, such as one Facebook page, one Instagram account and one LinkedIn page. Billed yearly in USD, Standard is $10 a month, Professional $30 and Premium $40, which includes three team members. Agencies pay $230 for 10 client brands. There’s also a free plan for one person. Set your brands and people below to see which plan fits.
On Zoho One? Zoho Social is one of the apps included. We’ll check which features your account has before we set anything up.
| Zoho Social plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Included | Good for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $0 | $0 | 1 brand, 6 channels, 1 person | Trying it on the main networks | |
| $10per month | $15per month | 1 brand, 14 channels, 1 person | A solo owner posting everywhere | |
| $30per month | $40per month | 1 brand, 14 channels, 1 person | Bulk scheduling, queues, monitoring and insights | |
| $40per month | $65per month | 1 brand, 16 channels, 3 people | Teams that need approvals, one inbox and Zoho CRM leads | |
| $230per month | $320per month | 10 client brands, 5 people | Agencies with a client portal and branded reports | |
| $330per month | $460per month | 20 client brands, 5 people | Larger agencies |
Zoho’s US list prices in USD per month, before tax. Add-ons, billed yearly: an extra brand is $14.50 on Professional (up to five) and $19.50 on Premium; an extra team member is $10; five more agency clients are $76. Billed monthly they’re $17, $23, $12 and $92. Connecting your brands, queues and CRM lead rules is our own fixed price, written into a signed BRD.
05Zoho Social vs Hootsuite and the rest
These five tools charge in four different ways. Hootsuite and Sprout Social charge per user. Buffer charges per channel. Later sells plans with a set number of profiles and users. Zoho Social charges per brand and includes the team. So the cheapest tool depends on how many people post and how many networks you run.
| Social media tool | Free plan | Entry plan | Higher plan | How it’s priced |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yes1 brand, 6 channels | $10Standard, 14 channels | $40Premium, 3 people, approvals + CRM | Per brand, team included. In Zoho One | |
| Hootsuite | NoFree trial | $99Standard, per user, 10 accounts | $399Advanced, per user, approvals | Per user |
| Sprout Social | No30-day trial | $79Essentials, per seat, 5 profiles | $399Advanced, per seat | Per seat |
| Buffer | Yes3 channels | $5Essentials, per channel, 1 user | $10Team, per channel, approvals | Per channel, users free on Team |
| Later | NoFree trial | $18.75Starter, 1 user | $82.50Scale, 4 users | Per plan, extra users and sets cost more |
For a small team, Zoho Social, Later and Buffer land close together. Hootsuite and Sprout Social cost several times more because every person needs a seat. Zoho Social Premium is the only one of the five that also puts social leads into a CRM you may already use.
Already on Zoho One? Zoho Social is included, so the real comparison is $0 against what you pay for your current tool.
Where another tool can make sense: if you only post to two or three channels and work alone, Buffer’s per-channel pricing can be cheaper. Later is built around Instagram and TikTok visuals and creator content, which suits some consumer brands. Big teams that need deep social listening, sentiment and enterprise single sign-on often end up on Sprout Social or Hootsuite Enterprise. Tell us your headcount and channel count on the first call and we’ll say which of these fits.
List prices in USD per month, billed yearly, before promotions and tax. Later’s extra user is $3.75 a month on Growth. Hootsuite and Sprout Social reprice their seats often, so we re-check all five tools the week you choose.
06Switching tools
A Zoho Social migration is mostly reconnecting and rebuilding. Each channel has to be reconnected by someone with admin access to it. Queues, approval rules, saved replies and report templates are rebuilt. Scheduled posts usually don’t export cleanly, so we move the next few weeks through the bulk scheduler and switch on a quiet day. Pick Hootsuite, Sprout, Buffer, Later or your phone apps to see where each feature ends up.

Zoho Social is Zoho’s social media management software. From one dashboard you plan, schedule and publish posts to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Google Business Profile, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest and more, answer comments and messages in one inbox, monitor mentions, run reports, and send social leads to Zoho CRM.
Zoho Social is priced per brand, with team members included. Billed yearly in USD, Standard is $10 a month, Professional $30 and Premium $40 with three team members included. Billed monthly they are $15, $40 and $65. The Agency plan is $230 a month billed yearly for 10 client brands, and there is a free plan for one person. Setting up your brands and channels with us is quoted on its own, as a fixed price in a signed BRD.
On Standard and up, one brand covers Facebook, Instagram, a LinkedIn page and a LinkedIn profile, X, Google Business Profile, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Snapchat. Premium and the Agency plans add WhatsApp Business and Telegram. The free plan covers the first six: Facebook, Instagram, both LinkedIn types, X and Google Business Profile.
For most small teams, Zoho Social costs far less. Hootsuite charges per user, from $99 a month on Standard, and puts approvals on Advanced at $399 per user. Zoho Social Premium is $40 a month billed yearly for three people, with approvals and Zoho CRM lead capture. Hootsuite can still make sense for large teams that need its listening and enterprise controls.
Buffer charges per channel, so it can be cheaper if you post alone to two or three networks. Later sells plans built around Instagram and TikTok visuals. Zoho Social covers up to 14 channels per brand on one price and connects to Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk, which matters once social has to produce leads.
Yes, on Premium and the Agency plans. You can add people who engage with you as leads in Zoho CRM by hand or with lead rules, see their CRM status and owner inside Zoho Social, and run CRM reports on the leads social brought in.
Yes. The Agency plan covers 10 client brands and five team members, and Agency Plus covers 20. Both add a client portal with your branding, free logins for clients, approvals and agency-branded reports you can schedule by email. Extra clients come in packs of five.
Yes, Zoho Social is one of the apps in Zoho One, so there is nothing extra to buy. We check which plan features your Zoho One account includes before we set it up.
Yes. We list every channel and who owns it, have the owners reconnect them in Zoho Social, rebuild your queues, approval rules, saved replies and reports, and load the next weeks of posts with the bulk scheduler. Then we switch on a quiet day and train the team.
It depends on how many brands, channels and people you have, and whether you want the Zoho CRM and Zoho Desk connections. Before we connect a single channel, the BRD lists every brand, queue and lead rule, and the delivery schedule puts a date on each one.
Yes. Zoho Social for small business starts free for one person, and Standard is $10 a month billed yearly for 14 channels. A small team usually lands on Premium at $40 a month, which already includes three people, approvals and the CRM connection.
Yes. After go-live our Zoho Social consultants add brands and channels, adjust queues, roles and lead rules, fix reports, and train new hires online or on-site in Southern California.
Yes. On Professional and up, one click on Pause holds every scheduled post, for example when news breaks or a product sells out, and Resume puts them back on the calendar. CustomQ lets you set fixed posting slots per day, and on Premium SmartQ suggests the best times from your own engagement.
SI stands for super intelligence. In September 2026 a US executive order asked federal agencies to use “super intelligence” or “SI” in place of “artificial intelligence” in official communications. Most businesses still say AI, so we use both terms.
10How a Zoho Social project starts
Four steps settle what you get and what it costs, in writing, before we connect a single channel. A one-brand setup is often scoped on the first call. Bigger jobs, like an agency with many client brands or a full CRM lead flow, may need a paid scoping and BRD phase, and we’ll quote that up front.
Zoho Social rollouts run online for marketers across the US, Canada and Latin America, and we can sit with your team in Southern California if you’re nearby.
From kick-off to go-live, the rest of the process is on one page. See how we work →
